Soaring & Flying

We're soaring', flying
there's not a star in heaven
that we can't reach
if we're trying so we're breaking free

you know the world can see us- "Alright that is enough Troy Bolton, you got to sing and you got the girl. You don't have to rub it in." I growled into my pillow as I slammed my hand down onto my alarm clock. It was 4:30 in the morning. I know, right? Joy to the world.

I clambered out of bed and ran my fingers through my tangled red hair, way too tired to even think about using a hairbrush. "Joss, how in the world are you a morning person?"

"Like seriously...." I mumbled on as I was brushing my teeth. "You have to be a....robot or something."

As I was washing away the foamy toothpaste, I looked up at myself in the mirror. My hair was still a mess and I was still in my pjs. Marvel ones for your information.

I grudgingly stumbled back to my room and swung open the closet door. "Joss, why can't you proved me with a wardrobe?" I whispered as I shuffled through my clothing.

And don't be afraid
To shoot the outside "J"
Just keep ya head in the game

"Who in their right mind would be calling me at," I glanced at my clock as I belly flopped onto the bed to reach my phone, "4:42 in the morning?"

"Oh," I looked at the caller ID, "apparently Tom."

"What?"

"Well good morning to you too, Sunshine." Tom said laughing into the phone.

"Hun, it is 4:43. What do you want?" I said as I placed the phone on speaker and threw it onto the bed as I stood back up to find some sort of clothing.

His laugh filled the room, "I just wanted to call and let you know that Joss has given us a free day to-"

"WHAT?" I screamed as I raced back over to my phone. "HE SAID THAT? AFTER ALL THESE DAYS OF FILMING HE TRULY DOES HAVE A HEART!" I screamed even louder as I began to prance around. I was a sight to see, let me tell you.

"Darling, you're going to burst my eardrums, but I'm glad you're in a good mood, there is a catch to this free day."

I was already calmed and curled up in bed. Already. Curled. Up. In. Bed. "No."

"Yes." Tom sighed softly. "Darling, it's nothing big. All you have to do with spend the day with me. Joss wants to expose you."

"But I'm already exposed." I whined as I pulled the blanket over my head and hugged my stuffed bear to my chest.

"Not really, Sweets. The press just know that the person playing Katherine Myers isn't Scarlett. They don't know you're name or anything."

"That's fine by me." I mumbled into my bear.

"But not to Joss. The public wants to see you. They want to know who you are."

"Do I-"

"Yes, Kat. You have too."

I sighed. "Fine. Pick me up at 9."

"9?" Tom asked with a slight chuckle. "You're already up. Plus," I heard him shuffling about and then I heard a knock on my door. Oh no. "I'm already here."

•••••

"I hate you."

"No, you don't."

"I hate you."

"No, you don't."

"I hate you."

"I hate you."

"That stuff does not work on me Hiddles." I said with a glare plastered on my face as I glanced up from my Waffle House menu.

"Come on, Dove. It can't be that bad. All you have to do is spend the day with me."

"It's not that." I mumbled off as I placed my menu down and soon followed with my head. "I'm so so so tired. Joss kept us late filming - which I had no clue what scene we were doing, might I add," Tom chuckled at that bit, "When I got home, I had to do my laundry and feed my critters. Then I had to wash my dishes and-"

"Doesn't your boyfriend help you out at all?" Tom asked, I felt him place his menu down and a warm hand on my wrist. "He should already have those things done, so you can come home and just rest up."

I giggled and shook my head, glancing up at him, I smiled, "I'm a single Pringle. I've never had, and probably nev-"

"OH MY GOSH!! ITS TOM HIDDLESTON!!"

My head snapped to my left just as quick as Tom's snapped to the right. "Smile, Love. She's got her phone out." He patted my wrist as he let go of it. "Just follow my lead."

The girl, probably in her late teens, ran flat across the room just to scream in our faces again. "I CANT BELIEVE IT! ITS LOKI!"

"Oh, goodness." I mumbled, which caused Tom to bump me with his knee.

"Hello, darling! How are you this morning?" Tom asked with a smile across his lips.

The girl literally looked like she was about to faint. "G-Good." She quickly spat out. "My name is Charlie."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Charlie. I'm Tom." He gave his little laugh and stretched out his hand, motioning to me, "and this is Kat. She is my costar in my upcoming movie."

I gave a small wave and smile. "Howdy." I said with a nod of my head. Charlie smiled at me, "You're so lucky to be filming with him! I wish I could be you!"

No. You. Don't. Unless you're a morning person. Then, yeah, you could be.

"Thanks. It's a lot of fun." I smiled. "C-Can I get a picture?" She asked us - mainly Tom.

"Of course, love." He said as he took her phone and held it up in front of all three of us. "Say 'Mine'!"

"Mine!"

"There you go, love. We'll see you around." He said as he gave the girl her phone back, plus a hug.

"T-Thank you." She grinned, before running off, hopefully back to her table, where she would leave us alone for the rest of our stay.

I could not have been more wrong.
