"hey miss wake up we've arrived at our destination" the flight attendant said shaking me awake
"thank you" i said before getting my stuff ready
my parents had gotten seated 5 rows in front of me since they got a last minute flight, i just got out the plane and i already felt like going back home my bag hung low as i walked over to the inside of LAX after what seemed like ages i found my parent waiting by the baggage claim
"hey hunny we were looking for you" my mom said as i approached them
"me too i almost thought i lost you guys but can i go get a starbucks i really need the caffeine" i asked
"yeah sure bring us some heres my card" my dad as he took out his wallet
"thanks dad ill be right back" i said smiling
i made my way out off baggage claim as i passed by many people before spotting the starbucks sign,
"ouch" i said as i felt someone bump into me hard
"im so sorry it was my friend alex" the guy said laughing
"yeah whatever" i said
"you see alex now you made someone one mad idiot" he said pushing his friend
"shut up aj it was an accident" the other guy named alex said laughing
"hey im so sorry tho" alex said approaching me with aj
"its okay it was an accident i get it" i said walking up the line
"you're new around here I've never seen you before" aj said looking at me which felt more like he was examining me with his eyes
"well kinda i came on vacation with my parents" i said smiling
"oh thats cool me and alex just got back from detroit" aj said before getting smacked in the chest by alex
"come on aj we have to go neels is here" alex said grabbing his luggage
"whats your snapchat so i can add you maybe we can hang out before you leave" aj said as he gave me his phone
i quickly typed in my snapchat and gave him back his phone
"bye" i said smiling and waving goodbye soon enough i realized it was finally my turn in line and I ordered my drinks

"californias so beautiful don't you think guys" my dad said as we walked down hollywood boulevard
"its so breathtaking dad i mean the sunset looks amazing here" i said smiling
"of course you and your sunsets" aliyah my mom said laughing
"your so mean mom" i said shaking my head
"aliyah is it okay if me and mom went out for a bit tonight" my dad asked looking sternly at me
"yeah i actually made friends today maybe i can hang out with them" i said kinda hurt i thought we were gonna do things together i mean thats the whole point of a family vacation but i guess not
