Ch. 4

Amelia's POV

13 months before

I was sitting on my bed studying for my Spanish test tomorrow when all of a sudden I hear a bang on my window making me jump

I slowly got up and walked to the window peeking outside

I saw the last person I was expecting it to be "JEFF ATKINS I HATE YOU SO MUCH" I said laughing

"You love me" He said shrugging. He gestured up to the room indicating that he wanted to come in

"Go to the door please. My mom is home"

He nodded. I ran over to my vanity and looked at myself "Uh why Amelia!" I exclaimed before brushing my hair fast

I heard my mom talking to someone and I knew it was Jeff. I straightened out my clothes and walked out. I jumped again when I noticed him standing right outside my room

"How about that date?" He said

"You're smooth, Atkins"

"I know right" He said flipping imaginary hair making me chuckle

"Um date? Now? I was actu-" I started saying before he cut me off

"Don't you dare say working on school. I want to take you out girl" He said in a girl voice before lightly pushing me away and going into my closet

He picked out high waisted shorts and a white crop top "Wow Atkins you got style" I laughed

"Get that on and then I'll do your hair" He said walking out

I scrunched my eyebrows shrugging before changing out of my sweatpants and tank top. I put on the clothes he picked out and looked in the mirror. He did really good

I opened the door and he ran inside "Wow eager much?" I said laughing

He didn't say anything just pushed my chair in front of my vanity and pushed me down to sit on it

He put his hand on his hip and said "Oh girl I'm thinking we make this pop out and this and this and this"

I laughed letting him continue his work as I turned on Teen Wolf. I loved the feeling of his hands in my hair that I forgot to watch the show

I looked into the mirror and saw my hair up in a perfect bun better than I could ever do "Wow hair stylist 101"

"Okay let's go now" He said but I stopped him and made him sit in the chair

"Oh boi we just gots to fix this mop" I said holding up a piece of hair as he laughed making me smile

I started by brushing through his which took like 2 seconds. I looked up and saw that he was watching Teen Wolf

"Isn't this show good?" I asked giving up on his hair and playing with it carelessly

"Yeah" He said with his eyes closed. Apparently he likes people playing with his hair

After about two minutes, we decided to leave "So where are we going anyway?" I asked as we reached the end of the stairs

"Monet's" My mom said from the kitchen. I peeked in and caught her dancing to a song she put on

"Go mom go mom" I started chanting but soon ended up joining her

Jeff stood there watching with a smile. My mom grabbed his arm and forced him to dance

He grabbed my hand and spun me around making me laugh

When the song ended we walked out to his car. He opened my door like the gentlemen he is and shut my door. I reached over and opened his door making him chuckle

"Today was fun and we haven't even gotten to Monet's" I said laughing

"I lied" He said with a forced frown "I told your mom we were going to Monet's but we're not"

"Then where are we going?"

"You'll see"
