Amelia's POV

Present Day 

I was packing away my clothes rather quickly not caring about my mom asking me to stay or my phone ringing or even the dog barking at my feet which now made me miserable, he reminded me too much of the man I love or rather loved

I was in my own world that I didn't even realize Hannah was let in by my mother "You're my last hope, Hannah" 

"Amelia? Am, what are you doing" Hannah asked as she watched me running around my room like a chicken with it's head cut off

"Amelia, please calm down" She said reaching out to touch my arm but I backed away from her touch

"Calm down?! How am I supposed calm down Hannah? My boyfriend is dead a-and I have no one, don't try to tell me that I have you because you barely even talk to me, yet I still thought of you as one of my best friends" I scoffed looking at her surprised face

"Yes you do have me. We love you Amelia, I love you Amelia. You can't run away from your problems"

"Well I've down it before, why's a second time gonna matter?"  

"Please" 

"No Hannah, I can't sit here and pretend I'm okay, I won't. Neither can you" I said closing my suitcase and moving to the third bag 

"What are you talking about, I'm perfectly fine"

I chuckled "Coming from the girl who can't tell the boy she loves that she loves him or the girl who can't relax and thinks everyone is against her. If the love of my life didn't die, I would say that you have more problems than me" 

I turned to see her on the verge of tears but it didn't hurt like it should've "You can leave now Hannah, I'm right behind you" I said harshly before grabbing all my bags and walking down to the front door

"Baby? Amelia?" My mom said from behind right before I opened the door to leave 

"Mama, I'll be back I promise, I just hate it here. I can't stay here" I said walking out to my car and putting my bags in my trunk 

When I turned around I was startled to see all my friends from school, Jessica, Justin, Bryce, Zach, and Sheri "Guys please, I'm leaving" I said closing my trunk and turning to them with my arms crossed

"We know" Jess chuckled before hugging me which I gladly returned. When we pulled away I hugged everyone else and said goodbye. I got in the car but before I started driving, I pulled my phone out
