Chapter 22 (new start)

It's time for a new start.

I sold the house and everything in it.

I bought a new one story house, new furniture, new clothes, more yard for Callie and Jakely.

With the new house comes new people.New people to replace the old.

Callie was turning one next week.

Tabitha and I in hearing distance for an entire day. Not excited.

She is bringing Matt and I'm bringing my new girl.

Callie had one friend. She's still little so I e is enough. It's my girlfriend's daughter. I met my girl at the park, we talked and I'm a flirt... Lets just leave it at that.

"Callie what do you want to do for your birthday?"

She just looked at me with her huge brown eyes.

"What kind of presents do you want?"

She giggled.

"Your too spoiled."

She stuck out her tiny tongue.

"Your crazy."

She laughed and bounced up in down in her crib.

"You want out?"

"Da da da."

"What?"

She's giving me puppy eyes.

"Come here," I picked her up. "Your the boss around here aren't you?"

She laughs and buried her face in my arm.

"You're silly."

"Callie be nice."

Denise, my girlfriend, was over, she brought Michelle, over and Callie is too much of a spoiled brat.

"Callie is getting so big."

"Don't remind me."

"Why do they grow up so fast?"

"You tell me."

I leaned in and kissed her mouth.

"What are you doing for Callie's birthday?"

"Spending the day at the park."

"That's going to be fun."

"What about you and Michelle?"

"Her dad is in-charge of that."

"Gotcha."

"So how about that one-night-stand girl, how's she?"

"Why should I care?"

"Just wondering.."

"It wasn't mine, if that's what you want to hear."

"Why a one-nighter?"

"I have no idea what was running through my head."

"It's getting late and we have a long long long drive to daddy's house tomorrow, don't we?" She said picking up Michelle.

"Bye."

We kissed and she left.

"It's your bed time princess."

Callie yawned and looked at me with tired eyes.

I picked her up put her in bed and she was out like the light.
