Chapter 9 - Reversed

(FLINT'S POV)

Mew flew off into the clouds, leaving Flame and I alone in the middle of the city. "C'mon, lets go to the forest nearby." I said to her. Flame looked at me, "Already? We just got free..." she started to mumble to herself. "Thats why we need to leave, so Coy doesn't come after us again." I said. She nodded to me, and I grabbed her hand and led her through the city. I realized I was crushing her hand, again, when she started to whimper. "Sorry Flame." I said, releasing my grip a fair amount. She sighed. I started pulling her to the edge of the city.

We reached the edge and I released her hand entirely. "Ready to leave the city?" I asked her. "More ready than I ever will be." She responded. "Follow me." I said grinning. I grabbed Flame's hand and dragged her into the forest. We reached a small pond covered by dense overhang. "Perfect!" Flame said, clasping her hands. I knew she'd like it. It was the same as her first home, before her mom and my dad met. I took some vines from the overhang and made some beds for us. One big one, actually. She giggled. I made a cover out of leaves. I molded them together with figs and roots. I set up a fire pit and other stuff while Flame gathered berries. She was humming to a tune I didn't recognize, but I liked it.

I finished setting up our home the same time Flame finished gathering berries. She cooked them over the fire pit and placed them all on the table when they were done cooking. We ate a lot of the berries. "Let's get some sleep." I said. Flame nodded and crawled into the bed. I got in after her. I pulled the makeshift blanket over us. I leaned over and kisses her. "Goodnight" I muttered.

I woke up earlier than Flame. I looked at my hands. I wasn't mega evolved? Woah. I tried mega evolving myself. I was back to my powerful self. I thought of me not being mega evolved. Back to my old self. "Yeah, I can finally control my mega evolution!" I said to myself. I realized I woke Flame and cursed myself. "Morning!" She said cheerfully. "Watch this," I said changing into my mega form and changing out and going back in again. "Congratulations." She said. I guess it wasn't that amazing. I looked over at our food pile, and then at our firewood pile. "We have nothing productive to do today." I said. "Yippie!" Flame replied. I gathered more moss and made a little nest out of it, big enough for some eggs. Flame looked at me confused, but then walked away. "I'm going for a walk." She said. "Alright, don't get lost!" I called after her.

It was a long after I thought Flame would be getting back. Three hours ago, was when she left. After a few more minutes of waiting and eating, I left the campsite. Was she lost? Or was she kidnapped? Or did Coy... I pushed that thought out of my head. I tracked Flame's scent easily. "Mmmm... Smells like Oran Berries and smoke." I mumbled to myself. I spent an hour tracking her scent to no avail. I started searching the entire forest. I was looking for five hours before I went back home. Perhaps she was already back. I got back to camp, no one was there but a Spinarak. I shot an Aura Sphere at it, making it coward away. I groaned and started eating. I would search more when it was daylight.

(Flames POV)

I watched as the pink creature flew off. I sat there for a minutes until Flint said, "C'mon, lets go to the forest nearby." I looked over at him, frowning. "Already? We just got free.." I started to say, but realized it was stupied. "Thats why we need to leave, so Coy doesn't come after us again." Flint started. I quickly nodded my head, still wanting to stay. As he grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the forest. His grip was strong, and I tried to ignore it. Before I knew it, I was whimpering from his grip. "Sorry Flame...." He mumbled. I sighed as I was pulled through the city.

When we fianlly reached the edge of the city, Flint realized my hand. "Ready to leave the city?" Flint asked me. "More ready then I ever will be." I replied. Better now before I change my mind. "Follow me." Flint said, smiling. He grabbed my hand again and pulled me into the forest. We reached a very small clearing with a pond in the middle of it. Vines spilled from the trees above, covering us from the sun. "Perfect!" I said, putting my hands toghther. I was worried about the water though, I tried to hide it though. It brought back memories, ones I couldn't seem to remember. Flint started to make a bed for us, and when I fianlly could see it, I giggled. He took some vines from overhead to make the basic building block. One, about the size of a queen sized bed. He started to make a cover out of leaves using leaves, figs, and roots. I saw Flint making a fire, so I started to gather berries. This place reminded me of a tune that my mother used to sing to me. I almost didn't realize that I was humming it.

I finished collecting all types of berries and sat them by the fire. I looked around to see Flint had set out a home for me. I cooked them over the nice, warm fire. I felt at home as I did so. I scooped them up and put them on a makeshift table. I slowly ate my berries, staring at Flint. "Let's get some sleep." Flint said. I nodded at Flint and walked over the the bed. I jumped onto the bed and lied down. Flint pulled up the blanket over us and kissed me on the forehead. "Goodnight." He muttered. I slowly fell asleep.

"Yeah, I can finally control my mega evolution!" I heard in the distance. I opened my eyes to see Flint smiling at himself. I slowly got up. "Morning!" I smiled at him. He was a regular Lucario again. "Watch this." Flint said quickly. A bright white shone off of Flint, blinding me. When I fianlly looked back, Flint was a Mega Lucario again. "Congratulations!" I said, trying to act excited. Might as well let him be happy. I saw Flint look around and say, "We have nothing productive to do today." Finally, time to have a break. "Yes!" I replied. I watches him gather a big piece of moss, a pretty big peice too. I looked over at him, raising my eyebrow. I got up and started to walk out. "I'm going for a walk." I said to him. I heard him say something as I walked away.

I walked around the woods, finally feeling free. I spread my arms and spinned around. "Beautiful." Someone said. I stopped and whipped around to see a male Delphox leaning against a tree. I blushed and looked down. No, I couldn't like him! I clenched my fists. "What do you want?" I tried to sound mad. He walked up to me and looked down at me. "To see your beautiful face forever." He whispered. I felt like I couldn't pull away from him as he wrapped his arms around him. "I h-have a b-boy-friend." I stuttered. "Not anymore." He said, holding me close. I tried to pull away, but he was strong. He grabbed my had, literally pulling me through the forest. I screamed for Flint with no preval. I arrived at a wooden hut. The Delphox pushed me onto the bed. "What's your name?" He asked. "B-bell-la." I said. That was my real name. "I'm Silver." He glanced over at me with silver eyes. I pushed me down on the bed, kissing me as I struggled to pull away.
