That night Clair had a nightmare where she actually saw Sebastian I her room. She woke with a start but he wasn't there. The next morning Jake did as he said and drove Clair to school, he had some friends of his, (a married couple) ride with them. Clair had met them before; they were nice people. As Jake drove away Clair mentally prepared herself for seeing Sebastian again. She took a deep breath and entered the school.

The first couple of classes went on as usual. Allen and Lucy were the exact same, and Allen seemed to notice things were a lot better, which seemed to make him not as worried. Sebastian was there, but he didn't say a word. In fact, after science he went on his way and completely ignored Clair.

She was thankful for this, even though it was as if Sebastian was reading her mind. Right after lunch Clair went to the restroom. She just needed to give Jake a quick call to let him know everything was fine and dandy. After the call, she took a deep breath. There really was no reason to worry. She felt like such a wimp, Clair thought she was stronger than that.

'My , my you do look pretty today."

Clair's body turned ice cold. Her heart beat rapidly inside her and she felt her palms begin to sweat.

"Daren." Clair whispered breathlessly.

"Oooh so you do remember me." He walked behind her and placed his ice cold hands on her hair.

What was this creeps' problem? Clair swung around attempting to slap him. However, Daren threw his hand up catching hers. Now the two were dangerously close to each other.

"Daren let me go." Clair demanded.

Daren only tightened his grip on her hand. His face crept closer to hers, pressing her back against the bathroom sink. His chest pushed into her, Clair was terrified, what on earth was going on! She threw her knee up trying to get him in the spot, but he quickly dodged.

"My you're feisty, this is going to be fun isn't it." Daren's voice was so dark, so... evil.

Right before Clair was going to attack again a gun fire went off in the hallway followed by the shrieking sounds of teenagers. The sudden shock caused Daren to loosen his grip and Clair took the advantage and ran out of the bathroom.

The halls were in panic, students running in horror, others being trampled on the ground. Another gun fire went off, but this time in the direction of the Jr. High section of the school. Without thought, Clair ran for Christy's classroom. While she ran she dialed the police. Her heart ached as she neared the classroom.

Everything's fine, she'll be there smiling, not having any idea of anything. Christy's fine. Clair repeated these words in her mind. The closer she got, the more blood and bodies she discovered. Blood dripped from the hallway walls. There were poor students with their brains blown out. She wanted to freeze, but she continued to run. Then she turned the corner to Christy's classroom. She stopped abruptly.

A dark tall figure held Christy a couple feet off the ground by her throat. His eyes were a dark red and blood covered his face. His eyes were wild, he looked insane. Then a white toothy grin escaped his lips as he stared directly into Clair's eyes. His hand's squeezed Christy's neck as the snap of it echoed throughout the halls.

Time froze as the girl's lifeless body fell to the ground. Clair's heart broke into pieces as the sight of Christy's body lay still in the hall covered in blood. Clair screamed! How could this happen. The figure went on a rampage and fired rapidly. Clair quickly dodged behind an open door. Who was this psycho?

"Christy...no." She mumbled to herself.

Clair shook her head, and placed her hand over her mouth. She had to focus, as much as it hurt she had to stop this maniac from killing anyone else. Remembering Jake's martial arts friend, Matt, Clair yanked out her phone and texted the number Jake had given her earlier.

Please come. She pleaded in her head.

From another direction more screams and gunfire went off. Two shooters, this was not good. Clair's heart was beating even faster now. The gunfire had ceased so she peeked her eyes through a small crack in the door. The man was holding another victim in the air. Now was the time, he was distracted. Clair grabbed a piece of broken glass, then she threw it directly for the man's pressure point.

The man whipped around and caught the glass. Clair's eye's widened in shock. This was impossible, no one could do that. What was happening? He dropped the teenager and walked toward Clair. He licked his bloody lips and smiled as he got closer, Clair readied herself. When he was in reach, she swung her body around and kicked him to the ground. Then she jumped on top of him and stabbed another piece of hidden glass toward his face.

He quickly dodged and threw Clair to the ground, throwing his body on top of hers. The blood of his victims dripped onto her face. Clair pulled her legs forward and through him off of her. She ran for him, but was stunned by a cold blade entering her back.

"The second shooter.... stupid idiot!" She scolded herself as she fell to the floor.

The blade must've been laced with poison because instantly everything became foggy. Clair's head screamed at her and everything felt like it was about to explode. She had never been in so much pain. The evil laugh of the murderers filled her ears. The first shooter kicked her in the gut spinning Clair onto her back.

The two didn't look human. What was this? They looked insane, and crazy like something from another world. They laughed at her and got closer and closer. Clair tried to move but the poison had paralyzed her. God...someone help me!! She begged.

When all hope seemed to be lost a blade pierced through the second shooters skull. Blood burst everywhere, covering Blair in his blood. Clair was horrified, what in the world. As the body fell forward Daren's face appeared from behind him. He was actually smiling, he looked as if he had just enjoyed killing a man.

"Well, I can't have you ruining my little pet now can I." He mumbled.

Then the first shooter enraged lifted his gun for fire and was ready to strike when his throat was sliced into, in a flash from behind. Sebastian threw the wretched shooter aside. He had cut the criminal's throat with a kitchen knife, and he did it effortlessly. Both of them killed as if it was second nature.

The two stood tall, and calm. Clair was now even more terrified, but she still couldn't move. Her head and body ached even more. Instantaneously her body began shaking violently. Her body was reacting to the poison, she tried not to scream, but that didn't stop the tears from falling. Blood was leaving her body at a rapid rate. The pain was so intense she didn't think she could stay conscious anymore. Her vision became black. All her ears picked up were emergency sirens and shouts. Before the darkness completely devoured her, Clair heard one last word from Sebastian's voice.

"Clair."
