It had just turned 3:00 as Clair rushed into the living room.

"I'm so sorry I'm late Sebastian, I lost track of the time." She breathed heavily.

Sebastian, however, was nowhere to be seen. "Oh, so he can be late."

Clair hated her predicament. She hated having to treat this demon as an acquaintance. Her skin was literally boiling with anger from the annoyance she felt. Clair sat herself on the couch, closing her eyes and resting her body.

"Clair." Sebastian's creepy voice filled her ears.

"Sebastian!" Clair popped up in a fright.

Sebastian kneeled down in a bowing position. "I'm sorry my lady, I had no need to frighten you."

Clair didn't speak, she only nodded. Sebastian stood and forwarded his hand, gesturing for her to take it. "I was hoping I could show you around the outdoors. The sunlight would be helpful, as well."

Clair accepted his hand, he gently lifted her off the couch, and the two headed outdoors. Clair was extremely uncomfortable. She was allowing Sebastian to control her. However, the one plus, was that she finally got to be outside again. The sun was bright and the fresh air refreshed her lungs. There was also the huge advantage in scaling the outside for an escape plan.

"I hope you will come to like it here Clair." Sebastian's words broke her from her thoughts.

"Sebastian, I'm just gonna be straight with you." Clair stopped dead in her tracks.

Sebastian's eyes darkened slightly, however, his facial expression never changed. He never did show his emotions, it was so annoying, not being able to read him.

"I don't know what's going on. And if you know me as well as I think you do, you know that I must know what's going on. Why are the supernaturals attacking and how did this all happen?"

Clair wanted answers. This time she wasn't scared to ask, because maybe she could kick him and run for it.

"It is a long tale Clair. I understand your curiosity, therefore, at tonight's meal, I will share with you all that I know." Sebastian bowed, and gestured for them to continue walking.

Clair decided to ablige. At least he didn't say no. Any time was better than none. The outdoors was beautiful; they were on some sort of farm. Sadly, far away from any civilization, but still beautiful. The walk lasted for only a couple more minutes, but it was nice for Clair to finally be outside and free from the house. However, Clair guessed Sebastian knew this.

After they reentered the house Sebastian excused himself to prepare dinner, which would be in an hour, or 5:00. Clair went back to her room. She needed to think. Clair had already come up with a couple of different escape routes, however, she didn't know Sebastian's weak spot. With Daren it was easy, there was a ton of stories and ideas on how to stop vampires. But demons. Clair didn't even know where to begin with them. Clair decided to do as much research as possible. Since there was a study in the house, perhaps there was a book on supernatural beings, though she doubted it.

However, Clair was sure she could find out a few weaknesses somewhere. She knew if she could just dig deeper, maybe she could get away from him. Since she had been kidnapped by Sebastian, she had searched frantically for her cross, but it was nowhere to be seen. Clair had thought that perhaps holy water would do some damage to a demon, but Sebastian had taken away that chance.

So without thinking more about it, she headed for the study before dinner. There was a nice handful of history books. Every book was old and vintage, it was as if something from another time. There was tons of history books of old England and etiquette. However, there was no books on the supernatural realm. Clair wasn't surprised, but still discouraged.
