Hope and Fortune - Ana

He's not a bad guy as some would have you believe. A killer, no I've never known him to be. I can't imagine what it takes to take a life but I've never seen him move without a pure purpose. He's a man of moral, A bit distant yes but he fights to build himself, to protect and help others to build as well. Never to ruin, I've never even seen a harsh side to him. Sure he's isolated but that's never hurt anyone. He is a good man and a good friend to me. Gyro Fortune is his name. I'll never forget the day we met. From that point both of our hope for this world was restored and so was our fortune in life. I found a new home and friends I could call family and he found a new hope and a new light in his vision. Until then I lived a simple life in a fashionable district. I didn't really know what I wanted to do and to be honest it's still a bit shady. Maybe it's not what I was looking for but I was given a purpose. A true means to help people in a fashion that I can enjoy. Not once did he leave my side until he knew I would be alright. I've gotten to know his suffering but even so he's done so much to help so many. To keep others away from the torment he faces is a big one for him. You start to realize just how much he worries the more you get to know him. It's a good feature though truly a selfless soul. Through him I have met many of such pure intent. Wonderful and true friends that i will never forget. Eager to help this world grow into something healthy. They are all truly inspirational in their own way. Just one big dysfunctional family. My family now. My experiences and ideas broaden vastly from this adventure and for that am grateful. In the future I can see things really looking up. Not only for myself but for all of us. But for now here's my story. - Ana

[Talus district]

The district of Talus was under attack. A notorious group of bandits by the name of Skore had nearly overrun the entire district. Their leader Karma was a powerful mage who felt the district was small, loot worthy, and would be an easy takeover. Unfortunately he was right. The military was small and easily run down by him and his men. Leaving only two men to the defense of the district. Echo, The militia's most promising sniper and Gyro, a wandering mercenary they were lucky enough to have crossed paths with during this time. Surprisingly the two were doing a great job of  working together and taking the city back. On this particular day the chaos waged close to Ana's home and she knew it would not be long before bandits broke down her door. She quickly rummages through her belongings looking for a few very important items handed down to her from her mother before they separated. However she could not seem to remember where she had stored it due to her panic. The doorknob begins to shake as the bandits approach her door.

Bandits: Hellooooo! Anybody home? We just wanna meet the neighbors!

The door itself began shaking as they attempt to open the door. Ana peers at the door for a second before remembering exactly where it was. Problem was she'd have to get past the the door to get it.

Bandits: Come on open up! We know you're in there! We just want to be your friends!

As she creeps towards the door to get to the next room she could hear their wispers.

Bandits: Hey guys I hear this one's expensive. Expensive?! Expensive how? Like loaded? We'll be rich! Well what were are we waiting for? Get out of the way!

Ana makes a dash for for the other room. The bandits were coming in and she knew it. The instant she reaches the door the bandits kick it in. She kicks off of the door and rolls into the next room. The door smacks one of the bandits causing him to fall. Surely enough there lies the heirlooms she was looking for. Three watches passed down throughout her family. In her panic she did not get a chance to store them as she wanted. Instead placing them on randomly on a footstool in her office. Quickly grabbing them she jets up the stairs.

Captain: Hey! My face! Grab her! We'll loot the house later.

Bandit1: Aw maybe I can take a few things and meet you later.
