Project Gyro - Emma

Everyone has two families. The one you're born into and the one you're bonded too. Everyone has some wacky story to how they form these bonds. Mine is no different. One of the strongest bonds I hold is quite the story. What's the best way to meet a close friend and become part of a prestigious group? Save their skin in your very first mission of course. Who would have thought one of the only times he gets himself tied up I'd be there to pick up the pieces. But hey we take care of one another. That's what family is for. - Emma

[Titan Core - Main lobby]

Emma await her interview patiently. Her best friend Asha worked as an operator on the inside and told her all about how amazing it was. She was nervous. She spent her time on her phone trying to figure out what to say. She notices just how close it is to her interview time.

Emma: [Text Message] OMG! What if I freeze?

Asha: [Text Message] What?

Emma: [Text Message] I don't know if I'll get it. I'm not amazing or beautiful like you.

Asha: [Text Message] Emma you are plenty beautiful and it's not about that at all so hush. You're really smart. Who knows every language there is? That's very valuable. Your fit, your body is a sculpture 😉 and you know martial arts. What's not to like? ❤

Emma: [Text Message] Well I have acne and I'm quite clumsy. I just don't think I'm that interesting 😔

Asha: [Text Message] Well you better realize it in the next ten seconds hun because you are up. Your great, your beautiful, and you got this. Love you 😙

Dema: Ms. Emma?

Emma: Yes?

Dema: Algren's ready for you. I'll be your escort if your ready.

Emma jumps up out of her seat due to her nervousness. Made even more nervous by her own action.

Emma: Yes of course.

Dema: I can tell your nervous but relax. [Spanish] I hear you are very special.

Emma: [Sighs] [Spanish] I sure hope so.

With a smile Dema leads Emma down the hall to the elevator. One was already open. Dema escorts Emma in and hits the button with an A on it.

Dema: It'll take you straight to the main office. Don't be so nervous. Algren is very easy to get along with.

Emma: I've just got jitters is all. My best friend works here and she loves it.

Dema: Asha right? She's told me about you. You'll do wonderful here.

Dema exits the elevator allowing it to close and rise. Emma quickly pulls out her phone.

Emma: [Text message] Any advice?

Asha: [Text message] Just one thing. Be yourself as always 😊

Emma takes a deep breath as the elevator begins to rise. She soon came to a stop and before she knew it the doors were opening.

Emma: (What was that one floor? Way to rush me world.)

Emma steps out of the elevator to be greeted by Algren who stood just outside of it.

Algren: You must be Emma.

Emma: (Oh my god!) Yes hi. Uh I'm here for an interview.

She says shaking his hand.

Algren: Well stage one is over. You've made it. I'm Algren. I'll be conducting your interview this evening. Right this way.

Algren leads Emma down the hall to his office. He takes a seat at his desk and she sits directly across from him. She was growing more and more nervous as the interview drew closer.
