Chapter 4: Family

Aprils Pov

Nordan opens the door and I walk in. I see a pretty blonde hair women with a older look greyish haired man. I know this is his mom and step dad. His mom hasn't changed but I've never met his stepdad.

"Oh my god April it's so nice to finally see you! It's been years" Sue says hugging me.

"It's nice to see you too. You look great" I say pulling away.

"You say so yourself. This is Ale my husband" she laughs. I turn to the man and put out my hand but he pulls me into a hug.

"Nordan has talked about you nonstop of a week straight" he says laughing really hard with Sue.

"ALE" Nordan yells getting red in embarrassment. I just laugh and put his shoulder. We sit down and start dinner. They made steak.

"Wow who cooked this?" I ask cutting up my food.

"Nordan did. I've made him husband material" Sue laughs and looks at Ale.

"Mom omg" Nordan rolls his eyes laughing. I smile slightly and nod at Nordan. We continue to eat until his mom asked the question.

"So when did you guys start dating" she ask. I choke a bit on my food and Nordans jaw drops.

"Mom um we are dating" Nordan says looking down.

"What? You always talk about her and how great she is. April do you think my baby boy is good looking" she says looking at me. I thought she was kidding at first but she was serious. I didn't know what to say. I just nod not trying to be rude.

"Well we already know Nordan thinks you're good looking so why not date?" She shrugs. I look at Nordan and he shrugs.

"May you excuse us for a minuet" Nordan says grabbing my arm. They nod and he pulls me outside.

"Nordan what the hell" I say.

"Listen April if we don't pretend to date my mom will actually pick me a girl to date. Please just pretend to like me?" He says. I did have small feelings for Nordan and I was kind of sad he didn't want to date me.

"I guess but what do I have to do?" I ask.

"Well do girlfriend things and I'll do boyfriend things. We will kiss and cuddle just when they're around. I'll buy you gifts you'll buy me gifts. If you're not comfortable with this then I understand but I really need you to do this for me. Please?" He stares into my eyes. I nod slowly. He's still my friend in the end. We back into the house.

"We're dating" Nordan says.

"Omg wonderful. Let me take a picture of you two kissing for my Facebook" his mom says grabbing her phone. I'm dying inside. I've never kissed anyone but like as a date when I was in middle school.

"It's okay" Nordan whispers in my ear. His mom holds up her phone to us. Nordan leans in and kisses me. I thought it would just be a peck but Nordan put his hand on my back pulling me and deepening the kiss.

"Awe look at them babe" Ale says. I pull away and smile awkwardly.

"I think I should be heading home. My moms probably worried" I say grabbing my phone.

"Here. Wear my jacket it's cold right now" Nordan says handing me his jacket. I smile and nod at the kind gesture. His mom and I exchange numbers and I walk home. When I walk in my mom is watching tv. I tell my mom pretty much everything since I have like no friends.

"So you like Nordan?" She asks.

"I don't know maybe?" I say shrugging. It would be hard liking Nordan. I mean I'm a nobody and he's a everybody. Something would happen and it would leave me heartbroken.

"Go to sleep and think about. In the morning return the jacket and talk to him about it." My mom saying giving me a kiss on the cheek goodnight. I go upstairs and shower. I put on my pajamas and see it's 1am. I go to sleep right away.

So my birthday was last Thursday and she texted me saying I have one last present and guess what it was? I FUCKING FAZE HOODIE! I'm legit crying. The picture is above at what it looks like.
