History ; Veronica lodge

It's was Saturday the sun was shining and bird were chirping. As Archie was getting ready for his date with Betty, he looked threw his window. He saw Betty excited and happy . He chuckled as she dance like no one was watching.  Archie had planned the perfect day for just the two of them. They would have a morning picnic at Sweet Water River. Then explore to see natures beautiful views. After they would go to pop's have dinner and go to the drive-in to end the night. It's was to be romantic and adventurous.

But Archie couldn't shake the feeling of how Veronica felt about there relationship. Veronica become one of his closest friends , she became an important figure for Archie. She was a friend that Archie very much respected. But after the things went down he couldn't help but feel like being with Betty was wrong. These were Archie's deep thoughts. He ignored them and went threw with his plan.

Betty woke up feeling right. Like almost everything and everyone we're in the perfect place. Jughead was okay with her relationship with Archie. Though Veronica wasn't , everything right now to Betty felt right with the world. Archie and Betty weren't the "amazing power couple" she dreamed of. But they were a couple and that's all that mattered to Betty.

As they both walked out of there house . Archie caring a picnic basket and a backpack. Betty caring a huge blanket. They threw everything in Archies jeep and headed to there first destination of the day , Sweet Water River.

As they arrived they got out of the car and stood their together holding hands. They smelled the fresh air and felt all there trouble go away for the day. Archie started to set the picnic , as Betty was trying to skip the rocks into the river. As Archie finished setting the picnic , he glanced over to see Betty attempting to skip rocks. He went over to Betty chuckling.
"Oh Betty, let me help you", Archie suggested.
As Archie placed his hand on the back of Betty's. He put his other hand on her waist .When Betty felt his hand on her waist she turn back to look at him as if he really did it. They then skipped the rock successfully and pulled away to look each other in the eyes. For one second they just stared at each other, admiring the other. Betty was the first to break eye contact. The smell of the breakfast caught Betty's attention.
"Oh yeah picnic is ready", as Archie remember.
" OOooOo food", as Betty said.
They walked to the picnic area and sat down. As they started the eat , Betty got jam on the side of her cheek. She hadn't noticed but Archie had. Archie laughed as he put his hand on her face wiping the jam. His hand then cupped her face. Betty looked up at Archie in embarrassment. Archie leaned in for a kiss. They felt fireworks. Betty finally got a kiss from Archie Andrews. And it was everything she dreamed of.

After they finished , they went on a hike and explored. They hiked all the way up to Riveredge, the highest point in Riverdale . As they arrived the sun was about to set. Before leaving they rested for a few and took in the view. They needed this , for a lot has happened . This was the only time they could come up for air from Riverdale's drama. As Archie was looking to see the whole view he saw Betty. He saw Betty and with the sun set background. He couldn't think to notice the time of day but her beauty.

As they drove back they talked about the amazing thing that happened to day. After they had the radio on blast windows down. They just enjoying the time being .

They arrived at pops. Betty had fallen asleep in car on the drive back. Archie woke her up to see her blue eyes open.
In shock ,Betty said " Where are we?"
"Pops, come on let's go", Archie said. They went in sat at the booth . Pops came with there order. As they were eating they talking , they laughed about how Betty almost died on the hike. As Betty was about to say something meaningful and romantic , Archie got distracted by the door bell. Someone had came , it was Veronica.
