Veronica pov*
After I exited the gym I felt horrible. I felt something in my stomach and it was guilt. I know that Betty didn't mean to hurt me. I walked out of the gym to go in the field to meet Cheryl. As I walk out the field the boys were still finishing up practice.
"Heyyy",as I walked up to Cheryl.
"What was that all about?", the strawberry blonde said.
"Just about Jughead ",I answered back.
"Oh so it that a thing", she asked.
I replied with a confused face.
"I mean is this thing between you and Jughead serious?", Cheryl answered.
"Yes , I genuinely like him. It's different he understands. Not that I'm saying Archie didn't it's just-", I was abruptly interrupted.
"Veronica it's fine I understand you don't need to explain".
"Anyways how about you, enough about Veronica lodge let's talk about thee Cheryl Bombshell.", I said laughing.
"What there to talk about",she said.
"UGHH how about how you and Reggie aren't still a thing!?!?", I said excitingly.
" I don't know, he's kinda-", she said before getting interrupted.
"Wow who's that hot babe", the raven head boy said, as he was in awe of Veronica cheerleading uniform.
I turn and see it's my boyfriend,Jughead.
"That's my cue", Cheryl said as she got up and left.
"Hey cutie ", I said as I felt a smile on my face. He grabbed me into a warm hug.
"I just wanted to say hi",he said looking at me with loving eyes.
I being short went on my tip toes to kiss him.
The look on his face when I pulled was adorable.
He stared into my eyes as I did the same. We stood there admiring the other with our hands intertwined.

Archie pov*
As we practiced coach called us in to tell us a new play. I was looking around and then I saw it. Jughead and Veronica kissing. Just the thought of my best friend kissing my ex made me pissed. But then a thought came into my mind. Betty. I'm with her now , and I can't break her heart again. As we broke out to make practice the new play I didn't hear it. I messed up. So I asked one of the boys but they ignored me. As the quarterback threw the ball at me I was immediately tackled down. As I got up I felt a pain in my hand . This hand is was my dominant hand. As I walking back to practice the play again I heard Reggie.
"Bro don't push it, you might hurt it even more," he suggested.
"Nah it's okay", as I lied to him.

End of practice came and the halls were empty. Archie walking into the hall and sat there trying to aid his hand. He struggled trying to wrap his hurt hand. Veronica was walking into the hall to get one of her books. The raven beauty then saw the ginger struggling. Veronica then decided that her book can wait. She sat next to Archie . He looked up and gave her his hand.
"Archie you can't keep hurting your hand",she said. Archie looked at her as he rapped his arm. The ginger knew that the Veronica he knew and love was still there.
"Veronica, I'm sorry",he said .
Veronica looked up as she just finished wrapping his hand.
"I know that, it's just I need time", she said.
To change the subject he brought up a dear friend.
"So Jughead and You?", he implied.
"Yeah-", she was rudely interrupted.
"I heard my name", curious boy said.
"Jughead ", as Veronica's attention quickly turned to him as she let go off Archie's hand.
Jughead started walking towards them.
"Trying to steal my girlfriend " he said playfully.
Veronica laughed and quickly stood up as Jughead put his arm around her.
"She was just helping me with my hand", as he chuckled
"Okay see you tomorrow bro",as Jughead as they walked away.
Leaving Archie in awe of how Jughead had the raven beauty in his grasp.
