As we walked out of Ash's bedroom, Ash took my hand and lead me to the kitchen area.

I felt tiny butterflies erupt on my skin, as he touched me.

He pushed open a door and I saw a cafeteria space.

I saw a person who looked like a older version of Ash scowl at Ash.

"Boy, you should be at school," the man boomed, who I assumed was Ash's father.

"I'm sorry dad, but my mates going through a tough time, she just lost both of her parents," Ash said with confidence in his voice.

As he mentioned my parents I bowed my head so people wouldn't see the tears pool in my eyes.

I heard people talking around me, but I couldn't concentrate on the voices.

One voice did stand out for me though was Ash's "Alisha are you okay?!" He demanded.

I numbly nodded my head.

He lifted up my chin so that I could see his face, and he wiped away the tears.

"It'll be okay," he told me, and then he led me to the counters where some people were serving the food.

"Two servings, please," I heard Ash say.

I looked at the plate in front of me, it was a massive hamburger.

I made my way to the table, following Ash.

We pulled up some seats to the table and sat around. Some of the people asked me questions, but I mostly stayed quite.

I only ate about half of my burger because it was so huge, "what do I do with this?" I ask Ash.

He grabs the burger off my plate and takes a massive bite, in 3 more bites, the whole thing is gone.

I looked at Ash with my mouth wide open.

He chuckled at me, and entwined our fingers under the table.

"Alisha," Ash's dad started.

I looked up at him, and I saw Ash giving him a warning look.

"You know that you're going to be the pack Luna?" Ash's dad questioned.

I looked at Ash's dad in shock, I knew it was going to happen, but it hadn't properly sunk in.

"Uh," I said and Ash looked at me.

"She'll become it when she's ready," Ash told his dad and he nodded.

"Lets go," Ash told me and I nodded and we headed up to his room.

Once we were in Ash's room, I looked around. It was a mess.

"You really need to clean your room Ash," I said to him, he nodded in agreement.

I wasn't a neat freak, but his room brought it to a whole new level.

"Should we clean it now?" I asked him.

"If you want," he said and I nodded, it will give me something to think about.

"Where to start," I asked him.

His bed wasn't made, there were clothes everywhere, also paper everywhere. On the couch there were soft drink cans and pizza boxes.

I walked over to the bin in his room, I picked it up and walked over to the couch-tv area.

I picked up the soft drink cans and food wrappers and chucked them in the bin.

For a couple of hours we cleaned his room and made a place for my things.

"Alpha?" A irritatingly high pictured voice said.

"Yes?" He boomed.

"Can I come in?" The familiar voice asked.

I made my way over to the ensuite, because a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do.

"Yes," he replied.

I shut the door to the ensuite as the door as the room door opened.

"What do you want, Julia?" Ash asked.

Julia.

I growled at the mention of her name.

I finished up in the bathroom, keeping tabs on where their conversation was going.

I stepped out of the ensuite.

"You," Julia growled.

"Me?" I questioned.

"You took my soulmate Ash from me," she said.

Ash scoffed at that.

"We were never dating Julia," Ash said, and Julia looked horrified at what he said.

"I've found my mate now, so leave us alone," he growled, wrapping a arm around me and pulling me closer to his chest.

"She's not your mate, you haven't marked her yet," Julia sneered.

I realised that I was wearing a crop top, so you could see that my mark was visibly missing.

Ash growled at that remark.

"Leave, Julia," he growled and Julia left the room.

"What was that about?" I asked Ash.

"Nothing to worry your pretty little head with," he told me and I glared at him.

"Mkay," I mumbled and went back to cleaning.

•••••••••••

"Miss, if you would like, you can sell the house, you can do whatever you want with it," the Lawyer told me who was managing my mum and dads will.

"Is it okay if I go and get my things from it, clean it up and sell it?" I asked the Lawyer.

"Yes, miss, I can set you up with a real estate agent. Can we set up a meeting soon to go over the rest of the will?" He asks me.

"Of course, when are you free? Preferably after school hours?" I asked him.

"How about 6pm tomorrow?" He asked me.

"Perfect," I said and hung up.

I put my phone down and looked at the wall.

"How did it go, Princess?" Ash asked me.

"We've got a meeting at his office at 6pm tomorrow," I told Ash and he grunted in reply.

"We have a formal pack meeting/dinner tonight, so please get ready," Ash instructed me.
