I really did think that Tony was just another liar who wouldn't tell me the truth but I was wrong he was a truthful person, or so I can say now.... He was a true friend.
We were now sat in English, Tony and I sitting together as the teacher spoke, Tony seemed to not pay much attention and doodled in his book, I kept glancing at him afraid to ask about the tapes Kimberly was talking about.
I saw Tony glance up at me, my eyes going wide before my head turned towards the front of the room.
"Something on your mind you wanna talk about Marie?" I turned to Tony, smiling weakly at him
"Yes, no, yes I- uh think so" I said quickly. Tony looked at me with a look of concern yet it was mixed with confusion and worry. I took in a deep breath before whispering to Tony.
"Do you know about these Tapes Tony?" I asked trying to see if Kimberly was telling the truth in Tony having them in his possession. I saw Tonys eyes flicker with realization.
He looked down at his book before licking his lips.
"Do you mean two specific tapes Marie? For example Kimberlys and Justin's?" My eyes went wide, Tony knew it all of it, he knew what I was talking about.
I nodded softly my eyes still wide, my mouth gapped. I was beyond shocked and hurt.
I swallowed my tears back and held back a rage of anger. I could feel Tony's eyes flicker back and forth to my hands then to my face.
"Y-yes...... " I trailed out my breath hitching. I sucked in a sharp breath before turning my full attention to Tony.
"Tell me everything Tony, and I mean everything" I said sternly. Narrowing my eyes at him, he knew I just tried to act tough, but really I was broken.
I was just barely at the point of picking up the pieces people left.
Tony and I shared a short stare before he took In a short breath.
"O-okay, here goes nothing" Tony replied folding his hands together. But then he stopped and stared up at me.
"I will tell you everything" I waited for more until he stared at the exit door.
"But just not here" he said, right when he had said that the 6th bell had rung, signalling the students that it was 3:00pm already, school was out.
What wonders. I turned to Tony and stood up.
"Eisenhower Park" I said he nodded quickly.
"Eisenhower Park" he repeated. We both exited the class, following behind the rest of the students, on our way out I saw her. Kimberly she was hugging Justin. As for Justin he was narrowing his eyes at Tony, I was standing right next to Tony.
Who was walking towards the bike racks, Justin's eyes glanced at me, his eyes softened. I snapped my eyes away from his and ran to help Tony.
When we got there I saw Clay, he looked confused at Tony and I, he frowned.
I hugged him and he hugged back chuckling
"Marie didn't know you and Tony talked?" I glanced at Tony who smiled putting my bike into his trunk, Clay still fell confused.
"Yeah, dude we have an English assignment on Hollywood History if you want to help out it's boring but you know Marie wouldn't mind you tagging along right Marie" I glanced at Tony and shrugged going along with his lie. Clay shook his head quickly.
"No thank you, I have had enough with homework, but thanks though. Hey so Marie's going to your house then?" I shrugged again, Clay grabbed his bike and smiled at the two of us.
"Sure my mom won't mind" Tony replied.
"Pop by Clay after maybe you two can stay for dinner?" Tony said, Clay smiled brightly.
"Sure, and if Marie stays I can tell our parents they won't mind" Clay assured, he waved us goodbye.
"I gotta go, I'll see you at home Marie and Tony if I don't see you later I'll see you tomorrow" he waved at the two of us. I smiled waving at my idiotic twin.
"See yeah buddy" Tony laughed waving him off, before turning to me.
"Eisenhower Park?" He asked I nodded confidentiality
"Eisenhower Park" I repeated back.
I didn't realize that Tony and I were closer then I thought...
