Chapter 1 - Secrets

~ Grey's P.o.V. ~

"Grey! Thank God you brought the guys! I was so bored with the people here." Arthur said dramatically as I walked closer to them.

"Shut up, Art. We know you're just bored 'cause you were waiting for the presence of someone else." Greg smirked.

"Oh shut it, you. As if you weren't?" He bit back.

"Settle down, children." It was my turn to smirk as they both glared at me. "You guys really need to find someone else. You're both hopeless."

The others chuckled at this. It's no secret that these two are gay. The whole school knows and if they had a problem with it, we would never know, unless they wanted to have a broken nose or a black eye at the end of the day.

Arthur Bailey is big, and he's like a bear, minus the hairyness, and he used to be part of the football team, but he quit and joined the volleyball team on his junior year. He's always been smitten towards Kyle, but didn't have the courage to talk to him, afraid he'd scare him away. He found an opening when the volleyball team were looking for some players and lucky him Kyle and Caden were already friends by then.

Sadly, he never had the chance from the start. You see, Kyle might be nerdy, and judgemental people always thought he was in the closet because of his shyness, but he's straight. In fact, he has a girlfriend. A gorgeous half American, half Japanese girl named Haruka Fujioka. Some people think its just some cover up, but its true. We've talked to her on skype multiple times. Too bad she's in Japan to prove them wrong.

And with this, Arthur just settled for friendship, though we all know he's still madly in love with my awesome, shy friend.

Speaking of them, he already had his arms on Kyle's shoulders, them chatting animatedly, probably about some manga update. That was one of the things that made Kyle comfortable with him; they both love anime and manga.

"Hey Sander! I missed you babe! I heard you cheering for me during the game." Greg said with a gleam in his eyes.

Alex just glanced at him like he had grown another head then went back to his phone, but he snapped out if it, and smirked at Zeus who was fuming still.

"See? I told you guys he loves me. He wouldn't even spare you a glance from his phone if you call him, but he always makes time for me." Greg cheekily added.

Gregory Freidrich, the team's wing spiker, and also a senior like Art and the five of us. He wasn't much taller than Kyle, but his strength and speed is not to be taken lightly. He's also part of the track and field, and obsessed with Zeus.

And in case you're wondering, yes, Zeus is gay. They've known each other all their lives, since they're neighbors and their parents are close college buddies. And when Zeus came out, he never expected her mom to squeal in delight. His father had a huge grin on his face too, because apparently they wanted Greg's parents to be in-laws. When the women gave birth, they were a bit sad that they couldn't wed their babies to each other since both were male.

And as soon as Zeus mother smothered him in an embrace, he already wanted to take it back, because now, the 'rents are already planning their wedding.

And how do I know all of this? Simple. We were there, in case anything got out of hand, though we doubted it 'cause his parents are awesome.

Before Zeus came out, though, Greg was already out and proud, and he never failed to throw signal at our dear friend, so you know he's serious with him. He's never been in a relationship after he announced he was gay, and everytime Zeus wasn't looking, he looked at him with such admiration and love that you wouldn't mistake it for anything else.
