I slowly got up from the bathroom floor, shaking slightly.
The phone clock said 6:02 am. According to the person on the phone, I should be able to leave safely....
Cautiously, I unlocked the door to Becca's room and opened it, peeking through the small crack I made.
The room was empty and a little light shone through the window.
Wait...the window....
I went over to said window and placed the phone down before moving the blinds out of the way. I grabbed the thingy to make the window go up, but it shocked me really badly.
I yelped and pulled back quickly, cradling my hand as the tingly feeling died down.
"Yeah...I wouldn't do that if I were you, Cassia.... You can't escape. You must play my game to survive." Becca's voice said.
I jumped, looking around the room frantically.
No one was there....
I picked up the phone and went through the door into the living room.
I heard sounds coming from Caleb's room, but I didn't dare open the door.
Maybe later if I can confirm that everyone is currently non-hostile....
The living room was empty and so was the kitchen.
I walked slowly through the kitchen, looking at the different artworks and pictures of Becca's family on the fridge.
I paused at the threshold between the kitchen and the dining/living room. I was about to cross when something jumped out, scaring the crap outta me.
I yelped and fell back, actually hurting myself a little. I winced and looked up, staring in horror at the thing that scared me.
"Hiya, Cassia!" Becca exclaimed.
She looked human again, but I knew better.
I backward-crawled away from here, never letting my gaze leave her.
Oh God, oh God, please don't let her hurt me...!
Becca giggled and walked forward at the same pace I went back.
I eventually hit the back of the couch in the living room. I grimaced, watching Becca continue to stalk towards me.
She stopped directly in front of me and crouched down, allowing me to see her hazel eyes filled with...something extremely unnatural. She had joy.
She was having joy at my terror.
This can't be Becca...Becca isn't like that...I'd know....
She grinned widely. "Haha, I scared you~!" She laughed.
I glared at her and tried to sidle away.
She smirked and grabbed me by the front of my shirt, lifting me like I was a feather.
I yelped again and grabbed her hand, trying to make her let go.
She giggled at my reaction and threw me onto the couch. I landed on my side with a small thud.
I sat up, shaking my head a bit. I attempted to get off the couch, but Becca was in front of me again. I yelped, backing up into the couch cushions.
She laughed.
And then...she started singing?
He he he he he!
Welcome, my friend, to a house of magic,
Where, I suppose you could say, our stories turn tragic....
