SNAW: Seven Nights At The Wise's

sparkstream - DAY 2 (Mini Chapter)

I took a deep breath and straightened up, gazing out the open door.

Becca was back to normal again, but she was obviously still on the computer.

31% battery left.  I should go plug it in....

I watched her for a moment before slowly walking forward.

"I don't bite, ya know."  Becca said suddenly, making me jump a little.  "Nighttime is my time.  Daytime is your time.  Unless you do something stupid like trying to hurt us.  I wouldn't recommend that."

I narrowed my eyes at her and went around the table on the opposite side, coming up behind the computer on the chair.  I grabbed the cord and plugged the phone in, making sure it was charging before setting it down.

"Don't unplug that."  I muttered as I got out from behind the table.

Becca laughed.  "Hey, I'm not a cheater."

I sighed and walked into the kitchen, glancing around.

Where am I going to hide tonight...?

Suddenly, I heard wails coming from Caleb's room.

"CALEB?!"  Becca exclaimed frantically, jumping from the chair and shoving past me.  Her dad quickly followed suit, and I decided to follow, as well.

I peeked into the room to see Caleb curled up into a ball on the floor, tears streaming down his face.  "It hurts!"  He cried.

Her dad quickly went into the bathroom and brought out a trashcan, setting Caleb up not a moment too soon.  He started retching into the trashcan.

Becca looked immensely worried as she held her little brother upright.

"Stomach bug...."  Her dad muttered.  "It should be gone by tomorrow.  He'll stay with me in my room until then."

Becca nodded and stood as her dad took to holding Caleb.  He had stopped puking and was shivering harshly against her dad's chest.  "It hurts...."  He whispered.

Becca winced and left the room, throwing me a glance as she started heading back to the computer.

I grabbed her shoulder.  "Wait."

She froze and turned to me slowly.  "Yes~?"

"Uhh...is Caleb going to be ok?"

Becca scoffed.  "In my opinion, if I were you, I'd be happy that he was sick.  Now him and Daddy are out of commission until tomorrow.  Though...I suppose your friends will be taking their place...unless il hangs with Caleb all night, too....  Huh."

She shrugged and sat back at the computer.  "Seriously.  This gives you more options for tonight.  If it even makes a difference."  She added with a signature giggle.

I sighed and went to the living room of Cam 5, sitting on the couch.  I then put my head in my hands.

What was I going to do tonight...?

*insert dramatic audience gasp*

I don't think I've done a legit one of these in forever XD

Sorry for the short chapter.  This was going to be Day 2 and Night 3 thrown together (which, after day 1, you won't get much of a story from the characters during the day since the emphasis is nights, hence Seven NIGHTS At The Wise's x3  Day 1s are just to show how the character feels after the sudden first night), buuuut I haven't updated this book in literally over a month.

August 25th was my last update o.o

I felt terrible that I hadn't updated in so long, so I wanted to give you guys SOMETHING from SNAW :P

So basically, with each new character, you'll get an individual night 1, individual day 1 (maybe more if there's some kinda plot twist or something x3), then after that, it'll be combined day # and night # (eg day 2 & night 3 in the same chapter)

This chapter being an exception xP

I'm really sorry for not updating, I'd literally take one look at the line unless il hangs with Caleb all night, too.... Huh."  and my brain would die.  That was the last thing I had actually written on this for almost a month xP
