I crouched down on the ground, massaging my temples.
This was Day 3....
In pattern terms, I should've "lost" last night...but I didn't.
I...survived.
...
I groaned slightly.
All of these...events were messing with my head.
I felt disoriented....
I jumped slightly when Caleb's bedroom door opened. In walked Becca's dad with Caleb in his arms, wrapped up in a blanket.
"He'll be out for a little while, but he should be ok by tonight...." Her dad said quietly. I noticed Becca following behind him, looking worriedly at Caleb before looking down on me. "...You...You ok...?" She asked quietly.
I glared at her. "Why...would you care?"
She rolled her eyes as her dad left the room. "Come here." She slightly ordered, slightly asked as she left the room.
I was, or course, extremely suspicious, but so far, they hadn't done anything to harm me during the day.
With noticeable shakiness, I stood and quietly left the room, closing the door.
I looked around for a moment before I saw Becca sitting on her bed. She beckoned to me to sit on the bed. I did, though not within arm's reach of her.
She gave a heavy sigh. "Look, I care about your health because I want you to be at your best when night comes. It's no fun when you're weakened mentally or physically."
"Of course. It's always about the game." I sighed.
Something flashed in her eyes for barely a moment, though it wasn't some kind of visible change.
I think...it was hurt. She was slightly hurt by my reply. So there is still some kind of...emotion in her.
She shrugged. "That kinda is why you all are here."
I shook my head, standing up. "Becca, I don't know what happened, but...this really isn't you. You don't take joy in other people's fear."
She watched me for a moment before smirking evilly, her eyes flashing to that creepy black-eye-white-pupil thing. Needless to say, it startled me a little.
She chuckled as her eyes returned to normal. "Well, I enjoyed that~"
I growled lightly under my breath and exited the room, heading to her computer to plug in the phone.
I was going to search the house a bit for clues.
NIGHT 4
Ugh...I found nothing and it's already 11:55 PM!
I huffed and unplugged the phone from the computer whilst avoiding eye contact with Becca.
"Good luck~"
I glared at her before walking towards Becca's room.
It's been...enough nights, right? Besides, I...didn't really feel like I'd be able to keep track in the other rooms....
I shut the door and sat against it with a sigh.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
12 AM. 100% battery.
Becca's creepy laughter filled the house as the lights flickered out. Somehow, though, there seemed to be a dim light coming from somewhere that allowed me to see decently around the room.
