Days passed by and my summer vacation had came to an end.

At school our English teacher Mr. Harry had given us an assignment. It was to write about an unforgettable incident that occurred during the past summer vacations. I and Blitz wrote about the ‘haunted mirror’ experience —that surely was an unforgettable incident.

While checking our assignments Mr. Harry called. We went near him. Mr. Harry stared at us.

“What’s the problem to you two?” Mr. Harry asked in amazement “I've told you to write an unforgettable incident not a fictional story”.

The whole class laughed.

“It is not a fictional story!” I said, locking my eyes to his “It’s real”.

Mr. Harry gave us a mean look.

“Enough. Go back to your seats.”He ordered.

The whole class laughed at us for no reason, in fact the incident was real but no one tends to believe.

After the school bell I and Blitz returned back to our houses. Just as I reached my house my mom ordered me to clean my room. Even though I didn't like cleaning and my room was great mess, I started cleaning.

While cleaning I spotted something under my bed. I stared at it for a short time then leaned and took it up. I examined it —alas! It’s a piece of haunted mirror. The decoration of it was still clearly visible. I uttered a shrill cry. I tucked it onto my pocket and headed towards Blitz house.

“What’s up Sam?” He greeted me when he saw me. He was playing with his pet dog Zappy.

“Blitz, I want to show you something.” I said nervously.

“What is it?” he asked.

I passed the piece to him. He examined it and his eyes grew wide in horror.

Part-2

There was a minute silence.

“Isn't this a piece of that haunted mirror?” He blew up, breaking the silence.

I nodded but said nothing.

“Where had you got this from?”  He now appeared a little scared

“I had found it under my bed” I tried to be patient

“But-but—“He stammered out “But all the pieces of it disappeared instantly after I and Allen had broken it.”

He stared at me as if I was the reason behind all those things. His stare disturbed me.

“I don’t know anything” I cried lividly “but I have a bad feeling that the ghost has came again to haunt us.”

“Now there is only one way to get out of this.” Blitz said, kicking out a stone that laid on the garden floor.

“What is it?” I asked with a hope.

“Let’s go to the antique shop and ask the old man how to get rid of the ghost.”

“Yes, let’s go now” I said.

“Now?” He asked.

“Yes! Now.” I screamed.

We biked towards the antique shop. We laid our bicycles beside a tree near the shop. Blitz ran towards the shop first. He peeped through the door and gave me a miserable look. I went near him. I was shocked when I saw the signboard “OUT OF BUSINESS” hung on its door.

“Hello? Anyone here?”  I screamed madly

There was no replay.

We biked back wordily.
