Four Years Later
Normani's POV
Finally I'm able together with all of my girls and have lunch. We've all been so busy with our personal lives we haven't had much girl time.
Ally went to college and become a pediatric nurse, we always knew she'd end up working with kids. Trolley did last too long after high school. Troy went to school in Texas while Ally was attending school her and the distance was too much for them to handle. But Ally has a new man in her life, Nico, Y/N's friend from the strip club. They've been engaged for two years now and they plan on getting married in the spring.
Lauren is a successful freelance photographer. She's even been on mission trips to South America and Africa. Shockingly her and Lucy are still going strong this time around, there may be a wedding in their future.
Zendaya run her own dance studio now. She came across this spot in Harlem and she teaches classes to the kids in the neighborhood. I love the fact that her dance studio is keeping those kids busy and off the streets.
As for the lovely Dinah Jane she's helping me run my dance studio. Dinah went to LA to go to school but it didn't work out. Then she started fucking around with Marley and that ended when the Feds started coming around Marley's many establishments asking questions.
Let's just say that Marley didn't hit rock bottom she cannonballs to the bottom. I know there are plenty of days she wishes she hadn't backstabbed Y/N.
Then there's me. These past four years have been pretty good. I'm still dancing my butt off, my students always come in either first or second place when we go to completions. But nothing brings me more joy and happiness than being a mom to my baby boy. Watching Sergio grow up has been absolutely amazing. He so smart and full of energy, and he's my little prince.
"So how's the birthday planning going Mani?" Ally asked.
"It's going pretty good, Sergio wants a Power Rangers themed party so you can imagine how interesting things are gonna be." I said.
"If you find me a yellow power ranger suit I will dress up just for little man's birthday." Zendaya said.
"Thanks Z but we've got that covered." I said.
"We who?" Dinah asked.
I sighed, "Y/N and I, duhh."
"Y'all are still together after all this time?" Lauren asked.
"No we're not together, we been doing the whole co-parenting thing. I made a deal with Y/N and now that he's graduated from college we're gonna see what happens." I said.
"Y'all who is that cute Spanish papi walking across the street?" Lauren asked.
All of us looked to see who Lauren was talking about but I didn't see anyone. "Y'all that's Y/N." Ally said.
"No it isn't." Dinah said.
"Y'all look at the guy in the gray suit with the glasses that's talking on the phone, that's Y/N. I'd recognize that jawline anywhere. Y/N!" Ally yelled.
Y/N looked up from his phone and looked in our direction. He put his phone away and started walking towards us. I haven't seen Y/N up close in awhile so this is a bit of a shock for me. The last time we talked he was in Dubai with his business partner.
