Amelia and Owen were lying in bed one morning before work. It was the beginning of Amelia's second trimester.
"So, today's the first day of your second trimester." Owen said, wrapping his arm tighter around Amelia's waist.
"What about it?" Amelia asked, lying her head down on Owen's arm after feeling really dizzy.
"Can we tell people? We agreed that we would when we hit second trimester." Owen said, tucking some of her hair behind her ear.
"Yes, I promised you we would." Amelia said, feeling her eyes getting heavy, her dizziness making her really tired.
"Hey, I gotta get up and get ready for work. I'll see you there this afternoon." Owen said, slowly sliding off of her.
"Nooooo." Amelia whined.
"I know, but I'll see you later." Owen said, getting up.
Feeling emotional all of a sudden, Amelia started to cry.
"Hey, hey." Owen said, coming back to hug her.
"I'm sorry, it's these stupid hormones." Amelia cried. She buried her face in his shoulder, highly embarrassed.

Prettymuch all their friends were in the attending's lounge and Owen thought it was the perfect opportunity for him and Amelia to announce their news.
"Everyone, we actually have something to say." Owen said. When the room went silent, Amelia decided to say it.
"I'm pregnant. With triplets." Amelia said. Everyone started congratulating them. Everyone came to hug and congratulate the couple.
When Riggs came to them, he shook Owen's hand and went to give Amelia her fourth hug from her colleagues.
"Congratulations Shep." Nathan said.
"Thank you." Amelia said, feeling her eyes well up with tears. Damn hormones. She thought.

Amelia and Owen were snuggled up on the couch, watching a bunch of movies on the movie channel. They had an evening off together, and were spending it all on the couch watching movies.
Home Alone was the movie currently playing. Amelia tried not to cry when they treated Kevin like crap. When they forgot him at home, Amelia couldn't hold in her tears.
"Such terrible people! How can they do that to their child?" Amelia sobbed, snuggling closer to Owen. He muted the TV and consoled her. He didn't know what to say, so he just held her. She has cried at almost every single movie when something sad or shocking happens.
Since she had a long morning at work, she cried herself to sleep in Owen's arms.
