NO! Just No...

I was scrolling through the "What's New" list as I often do and I came across a One Direction sex slave story. Being me, I clicked on it so I could tear it to shreds, and my gosh. I have lost all faith in humaity.

The basic idea is about 1D making a set of games for ten girl to compete in, in each game the girls are scored on their performance and are punished the lower on the scale they go. The last place girl is then raped and killed.

Let's ignore the fact that this actually happens to some people and is a terrible thing, and focus on something different. Consider this story,

You are a famous ______ and as you are browsing your favorite writing site, you come across a story where you and your best friend are kidnapping and raping teenage girls/guys. You read through and find that you maliciously kill a girl after raping her, and then you have mercy on a girl who is seen as pure because she's a virgin.

How screwed up is that? Something a lot of fan-fiction writers do is forget that their fantasies and such are usually about real people. Let me repeat that, REAL PEOPLE. I would feel sickened if someone wrote a story about me raping someone, and I would want that story taken down.

One Direction may be a boyband on a pedistal, but it doesn't mean they don't have real feelings and problems. I certainly think that if they read that, they wouldn't want the writer as a fan.

This is a terrible idea, and it sickens me that teenage girls are writing this as wish-fulfillment for what they want. Rape isn't romantic, it is terrible and cruel. No one should go through that.

This story should be removed from Wattpad, and the writer given some severe reprimanding from the Mods.

*UPDATE*

As it turns out, Kevin from the Wattpad service team people things agreed with me. He looked into it and decided the story was crossing the line, even if it had been given a rated R listing. The story was removed and I cannot wait to see how the wrter responds.
