Chapter 6

I felt relieved and anxious when we got to Willow's room. Jewel kept asking why we were going to the dorms but gave up. Willow shut the door and walked up to me. "Give me your hand."

Willow took my right hand and closed her eyes. I knew she was saying the spell in her head because I felt the power surging through me. She made a confused face with her eyes still shut. The power disappeared from in me and she dropped my hand.

"Your not a witch?" she opened her eyes.

"Huh? What's going on?" Jewel interrupted.

"Until I find out why I'm not suppose to know and anything else I can uncover please don't tell anyone with out my permission," I told them. They nodded. I took a deep breath, "what am I?"

"Vampire... human... demon... and werewolf," Willow listed. "It explains why you did bad in our class, but wouldn't you know if you were a werewolf?"

"I only know one person we can trust to ask," Jewel remarked.

            "Who?"

"Kohl," Jewel said in a condescending tone.

"Yeah," Willow agreed, "can you think of anyone else?"

"No, Kohl it is," I nodded. "could a spell do it?"

"Not by its self the power to shift is too great," Willow shook her head.

Jewel picked up her phone and typed on it before putting it to her ear, "Liam, hey um could you put Kohl on?"

Then she put it on speaker. There was shuffling before, "what's up?"

"Don't make it obvious but get to Willow's room, a-s-a-p, don't tell anyone," then she clicked end call.

            "Will he?" I asked.

"I know how to make sure," Willow winked. She stood up and closed her eyes. She bit her lip and Kohl materialized out of thin air.

"Wow, it sure must be important," Kohl said. "Liam had to leave right after you called."

I looked at him, "I have a question?"

            "Shoot," he shrugged.

"What are the most common reasons for a partial werewolf not to shift?" I asked.

"If they are more than half they could just be a late bloomer but if it's less than half, it's pretty hard to shift the first time and or a charm could block them from accessing their wolf." Kohl sighed, "But that last one is only been done once in history that's been recorded anyway."

"Um, Kohl do you have any idea how to break the charm?"

"Why?" he raised an eyebrow at me.

"Because you were right about me but you can't tell anyone for now," I stated.

"Why? And Willow probably could answer that better than I can," Kohl admitted.

"Yeah I can but I don't know if you'll like it," Willow sighed looking at her lap.

            "What?" I asked.

"The witch has to die," Willow confirmed.

"Um I think the witch is dead," I mumbled.

            "What?" Kohl's eyes widened.

"Can you repeat that?" Willow and Jewel did not have advanced hearing.

"Well than it's up to you to bring her out," Kohl clapped, "and I can help you with that."

"Will it hurt," I was scared.

"Only the first shift than it is easy and quick," he said.

"How come it hasn't happened on its own if the witch is dead?" Jewel questioned.

"It will probably take a lot of anger if it's been dormant long enough," Kohl explained.

"Oh boy, this will be fun," I said, sarcastically.

"Guys, there might be a problem," I turned to see Willow looking around the curtain of her window.

"What?" I bit my lip and sighed.

"Remember the announcements, the woods are off limits until further notice," Jewel filled in.

"Where are we supposed to do this without getting in trouble?" Willow asked. Oh, no, I thought.

"Well there may be a place that we might not get caught," Kohl said. I turned to him and nodded. "There is a gym that isn't being used, it can be but isn't."

"But if we get caught, we'll get in trouble!" Jewel stated.

"Well then I'll go with just Kohl to the forest so no one else gets in trouble," I concluded.

"No we're in this with you, you go, we go!" Willow pointed at herself and Jewel, "so let's get a move on!"

"I don't want you guys getting in trouble and we don't know what the intruder is." I shook my head.

"I can take care of myself," Willow narrowed her eyes.

"And I'm not being left, wait! I can protect myself too!" Jewel scoffed.

"You guys are going to go matter what, aren't you?" I groaned.

"Hey, do you not care about my protection?" Kohl mocked hurt.

"I do but..." I trailed off. Kohl rolled his eyes, whatever think whatever you want. "you know what, we can do this later. I, um, gonna go. I have a lot to think about. Thanks guys, but please don't let a soul find out, I beg of you. I will when I know everything I need to."

I gave them a wave and left. Before they could chase me, I teleported to my room. Wait a second, that's why I can teleport and read minds even though I couldn't do much else but control a few elements. Then I realized that Damon was right when he thought I was at least part demon.
