Chapter 9

Toms PoV

Peri was planning on making her first visit to London this weekend, not going to lie but Steph has been be picky about me recently she is obviously missing her mum. So am I. But London is great! Everyone at collage are so nice and totally cool with the fact I have a child.

Saturday

I dressed Steph up into a dress peri bought her the week before we left. She said it brought out the colour of her eyes and suited her. Anything Steph wears makes her adorable but this was a cute outfit.

"You ready to see mummy today!?" I asked her, she hasn't stopped crying for the past week. I feel drained

Instead of replying to me my daughter babbled and made very unrealistic crying sounds

I rolled my eyes and sat her down in the pram

I began to walk towards the train station, Steph screamed down every street and brought lots of people's attention to us. When we finally arrived I picked her up and she finally stopped her rivers of tears "at last" I whispered

Then I saw the train pull in, Steph pointed at the bright colours of yellows and purples which made her smile, what made me smile was when she saw peri

The young blond ran towards us with open arms, I picked her up with one arm and spun her around. She smiled and turned her attention our daughter "hello!" She smiled. I handed her over to her and peri began to cry. She misses her without a doubt.

She finally turned back to me and smiled "hey"

"Hey" I retuned

"Come on let's get out of here" she adjusted Steph to her hips and we walked out, we talked out the past few months. Poor peri has been through so much, her uncle just found guilty of murdering  his ex, her dad arrested for serval murders! She's us stuck with Nico while I've been away. Which hasn't helped matters that I stole her kid and moved to London.

"So how's your first week been?" Peri smiled as we sat down on a park bench.  "Really good, everyone's super nice"

"That's good" she laughed watching Steph roll About the grass. "And you? How's your week been?" I asked in return

"Same old, word at school got out about my dad" she rolled her eyes, she has never had an easy time at school. "Rise above it" I nudged her with my shoulder

"Nah but honestly how are you?" I asked. She looked at me and burst into tears "Tom it's awful!" She bawled out sinking her head onto my shoulder .

I hugged her, as her tears dampened my shirt

"Look I just wanna forget about everything" she wiped her tears away sat up and placed her daughter back into her pram. She's trying to be brave and act as if nothing is happening and try to be normal. But honestly it's chipping away slowly inside of her and she's on the brink of a breakdown

"Please can we just go back to yours?" She pleaded hopefully I nodded and lead her back to the direction of the flat. OB was away for a week or two doing some business stuff or something so me and Steph have had the place to ourselves this week

I unlocked the front door and we entered the very modern flat, peri's eyes lit up like she'd just won the lottery she scanned every little detail before sitting down on the sofa "wow" she gasped "this place is awesome I bet you never wanna come home!" She looked me in the eyes as I sat down next to her and switched on the television

"As amazing as it is it's not hollyoaks is it? I miss everyone. My family aren't there or you-" I cut myself off releasing I'd said too much and peri shot her head round

"I really miss you Tom" she smiled leaning her head on my shoulder

"We really missed you too" I smiled back as the three of us sat on the sofa watching a film.

Third person

The film ended and peri stared into her daughters sleepy blue eyes as she tucked her into bed, still to this day she can't believe she is hers.

Peri's PoV

"Tom?" I asked quietly shutting the bedroom door trying not to wake up my daughter again. He turned around and nodded

"I've really been thinking about this" I fiddled my fingers and sat down next to him "I don't think I can face going back without you guys" I sighed

"Peri you know we have to stay here I'm getting the best possible education in the country!" He placed his arm around me and I sunk into him

"I know I'm not asking you too come back to hollyoaks right now, i was thinking of transferring to the same collage as you?"  I looked at Tom who looked shocked

"You'll be giving up everything pez" I shook my head to him "I want to be with you guys it hurts me everyday being alone I miss you both too much"  I almost yelled

"I hate my life sometimes" I began to cry

Lmao I've been writing this for months and adding bits when I feel like it so that's why it's messed up :)
