Chapter 11

Damons P.O.V

"What?!" I growled through the phone.

"Damon, its bad, get back her fast" Rose snapped. I didn't know what was going on, unneeded to get back to Elena, now.

"What's going on?!" I said.

"Just get back here!" She exclaimed.

"Tell me, what's going on." I demanded.

"No. I'm not telling you over the phone" and with that she hung up on me, dammit. I needed to get there as fast as I could. I told the group and sped off ahead of them. By the time I got there, Jacobs wolf pack was there, I pushed passed them all and ran inside, then into Carlisles office.

No one. It was empty.

I sped upstairs to find Alice, sitting down facing towards the fire place.

She turned around.

She smiled when she saw me, her eyes looked down. My eyes traced down to where she was looking, I saw a little bundle of bliss, wrapped in a white and pink floral blanket. That was my baby, my baby was okay. But where was Elena? Was she okay? I couldn't do this without her. Alice's eyes then looked back up at mine and she spoke-

"You wanna hold her?"

I couldn't speak, so I slightly nodded. I was shocked. Alice then stood up from the chair, walked over to me and handed my baby to me.

"What'd she have? A- A boy or a girl?" I asked still shocked that I was holding a life that I helped create in my hands.

She smiled at me. "A girl. Congratulations."

I felt my lips tug up into a smile reaching my eyes- a girl, daddy's little girl.

My eyes softened along with my voice "Elena? What about Elena?"

"She made it. She's in your room." She said, happily.

My body immediately relaxed at those words. Elena was okay and so was the baby, were a family.

"Thank you" I immediately said and smiled at her, she smiled back. My eyes fluttered down to the baby girl I was cradling in my arms. Her eyes were crystal blue like mine, her skin was smooth and light like Elena's. Her hair, was dark but not dark like mine and not as light as Elena's. Her face was heart shaped perfectly, just like her mothers. I looked her features up and down, trying to get what she looked like stuck into my mind. I stared into her eyes, she was perfect. She looked back me, just blinking. Most of her features were already developed, shaping her face and some what she would look like when she gets older. She looked nothing like a newborn, she looked...older. She was the definition of perfection.

I lifted my free hand up to the blanket and gently place my thumb on her fragile body. She then wedged her tiny baby fingers around my ginormous thumb.

I heard footsteps and a very familiar voice. I snapped my head up from looking at our daughter to see Elena standing there, with a bright smile plastered over her face.
