Chapter 7

7 = meet my parents

" Gotcha!" I said while rubbing my phonte my face. Oh my beloved phone.

"Hey Sophia. What if you meet my parents? We're friends already, right?" He asked.

"Tita Marinel and Tito Lyndon?" I also asked. "Yup." He answered.

"Sure, who not? I'm just going to ask for my parents' permission." I sakd and dialed my mom's phone. She answered it quickly. I asked for her permission and she said yes.

Darren's POV (very short POV.)
She's cute. I like her. As a friend. That's why I'm introducing her to my parents.

Sophia's POV
Yes! My mom allowed me.
I noticed something strange a while ago. Darren was stari-no, observing (?!) me. The heck?

"Is there a dirt on my face?" I asked him.

"Nope." He said. "Then why are you looking at me like that?" I asked him looking directly into his eyes. Them gorgeous eyes.

"Uh-uhm. N-nothing." He said.

"Oh, did your parents allowed you?" He added. I nodded. He said that I would join him later. Finally, I would meet Lynelle later!

Darren's POV
"Mom, Dad. I want you to meet Sophia." I said confidently.

"Girlfriend mo? Bakit hindi mo sinabi agad?" Mom asked.

"Ay hindi, hindi po." Sophia said, denying.

"KUYAAA!" Lynelle shouted. What now?

"COMING!" I shouted back. I told Sophia to follow me. She was excited to see Lynelle.

"Kuya, who is she?" Lynelle asked pointing at Sophia.

"Hi Lynelle! I'm your Kuya Darren's friend, Sophia." She introduced herself.

"Hi ate Sophia! Kuya Derin, may I talk to you privately?" She asked. I walked up to her and she whispered,

"Kuya, alam mo... Bagay kayo." My eyes widen as she said the last 2 words. Sophia was just roaming around Lynelle's room, not knowing what we're talking about.

"Darren, Sophia, Lynelle! Dinner's ready!" We quickly went down.

"So Sophia, tell us about yourself." My mom said.

"Uhh, I'm Sophia Isabel. Classmate and friend po ni Darren." She started.

"Proud ako sayo anak. Ang bilis mo magkaibigan. First day of school palang." Dad said. Ofc. Who could resist my handsome face?

(Pshh. Hangin.)

Wag epal, author. Aminin mo na kasi. Pogi ako. Kaya crush mo ko eh.

"Lyndon! Don't interrupt her." Mom said while Dad was just making the peace sign.

A/N: idk if his mother calls his father Lyndon.

"Uhm... I'm 15 years old. I love making calligraphy, reading, and playing volleyball." Sophia said.

Darren's POV
She needs to go now. It's already 7:00pm.

"Bye Darren. Thank you for inviting me. Bye din po, Tita Marinel, Tito Lyndon, Lynelle." I watch her ride their car.
