"Ow what, stop tickling me." I giggled to myself as the light started to seep through my eyelids.
I managed to fully open my eyelids and stare into the dimly lit room.
Well that was awkward...
I was half consciously dreaming about being tickled by god knows who.
I let my eyes scan around the room until I found the clock, 5:45pm.
Wow. Talk about power nap.
I felt so refreshed. I hadn't taken as many naps lately and I kind of missed it. Actually, I really missed it. I smiled and shifted my legs so that I could sit up but they seemed to be tangled ..with someone else's?
I looked to my side and noticed Aster right next to me, his hair covering his face, and his chest slowly moving up and down as he took small breaths.
Oh, so he decided to sleep too. I yawned and slowly started to kick my legs around until they were free. After I was up from the warm bed I peeled my white collared shirt and black pants off and replaced them with a plain white t-shirt and a pair of black jeans. Oh comfort, how I missed you.
For a second I forgot the fact that there was someone in my bed and flung my clothes behind me. And then I heard a small groan.... Or was that a growl?
"Oops..." I slowly turned my head around.
"What the fuck.." Aster's face was covered with my clothes.
I couldn't tell if he was angry or not, so I started to laugh, "S-sorry." it looked quite funny.
My laughter came to a halt once I realized that he wasn't laughing with me.
"Just throw your whole closet on me while your at it." I was surprised how that loud growling voice could emerge from such a small body.
He was mad, I could tell. One thing I've learned about Aster is that when he gets mad, he gets mad. As in, 'I'm going to rip your head off and feed it to the sharks' mad. And honestly, that's not something I really wanted to be a part of.
Could you blame me?
In an attempt to ease his anger I rushed over and took my clothes off of him. His eyes were still covered by his hair and I could only imagine the evil death glare he might give me if they weren't.
"Sooo... Anything you want to do today?" I stood by the edge of the bed, trying to change the subject and not daring to get any closer.
Instead of answering, he sighed and stretched out like a cat would. His back arched up and I watched his pale slim torso as his shirt hung off of his body. I felt my face getting warm and I turned to the right, not wanting to deal with any... 'unwanted' problems in the no-no area. If you get what I mean.
"I'll take that as a no." I turned back, figuring that he was done stretching and I was right. He was calmly sitting on the bed cross legged, probably waiting for me to think up something to do.
As I was thinking of something to do, Mr. Wilson's words rang in my head,
'You know you don't have to take him to all these places, your job is just to watch him.'
I still couldn't believe it. Did he not see the progress that Aster had gone through since staying with me?
Okay... Maybe he did try and slit his wrists... but I stopped him, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't do it again. I wouldn't let him do it again. Plus he had been talking a lot more than when I first met him.
Or was he always like that after staying with someone for a while?
"Hey... Let's go out somewhere, I want to ask you some things." I gave Aster a reassuring smile.
