The Legend of Gaea and Enviorn Everfree

* the campers are sitting around a campfire in a circle while Rarity and Elusive are telling campfire stories* * Princess Twilight and Prince Dusk are sitting next to Twilight and Dusk*

Rarity: ...And that's when she looked down and realized she was wearing purple socks with a burgundy dress! [screaming]

*everyone is quiet*

Elusive- *scoffs* Purple and burgundy, darlings! The same color family! *shudders*

Students: [murmuring]

Princess Twilight/Prince Dusk/Twilight/Dusk- *looks at each other in confusion*

Timber/Forest- *grins nervously* Great story, Rarity.

Applejack: Uh... that was a terrifying story.

AJ- *smirks* Sheesh...

Rainbow : [chuckles] *looks at Blitz, Applejack, and AJ* Yeah, I'm terrified she'll try to tell it again.

Blitz- *chuckles happily*

Sugarcoat- *blunt* What's so scary about color's?

Lemon- Someone tell a spooky story!

Luna: *looks at Artemis* [clears throat] Anyone else have a spooky story?

Timber: *raises hand* Me and Forest have one. *smiles confidently*

Forest- *smirks* Yep, but we're warning you, you might as well hug a friend now. That's how scary it is!

Fluttershy/Butterscotch : [gasps]

Spike/Barbra/Dog Spike/Dog Barbra: [whimpers and jumps into Fluttershy and Butterscotch's arms]

Fluttershy: *worried and looks at Butterscotch* Oh, dear.

Snips/Snails/Sugar/Spice- *holds onto each other in fear*

Bulk Biceps/Snowflake: [clattering teeth] *grabs Snips, Sugar, Snails, and Spice*

Timber: *grins* It's time we told you about the legend of Gaea and Environ Everfree.

Forest- *nods*

Princess Twilight/Prince Dusk- *looks into the flames thinking and zoning out*

Timber: [narrating] Many years ago, our great-grandparents came to the Everfree Forest. It's always been a peaceful place. Seeing its beauty, they decided that it would be the perfect place for a camp. But once they started building, strange things started to happen. One pitch black night, when the wind was howling, a tree branch crashed through the roof of their cabin! They screamed and ran outside, only to see two giant creature rising from the earth! They had wild hair like the roots of a tree. Their mouths had jagged rock teeth and their eyes were pools of black tar. But their aura shimmered like diamonds. Anywhere they went, they left a trail of gem dust in their wake.

Forest- *continues narrating* Trembling, our great-grandparents asked who they were and what they wanted. In deep and hollow voices, they told them that their names were Gaea and Enviorn Everfree – ancient spirits who held domain over the forest, and that our great-grandparents were trespassing on their land. They begged them to let them stay and build their camp, to share this wonderful place with others. Gaea and Enviorn Everfree finally agreed but warned them that they would not be able to keep it forever. Someday, they will return and reclaim the forest as their own.

Timber : So if you see a trail of gem dust...

Forest- ...you'll know that it is...

Timber/Forest- *in unison* [louder and scarier] Gaea and Enviorn Everfree!
