The four of them huddled together, back to back, their hands outstretched. Their elemental power were glowing in their palms.
Water.
Earth.
Air.
Fire.
They didn't speak, their powers were becoming such a strain, they couldn't talk. The ominous danger around them began to close in. They could hear the cruel, jeering laughter. All four stood, in total control of their elements, but still absolutely terrified. All four lashed out together, prepared for battle. Unsure whether it would be their last.
