He slowly walked past the flowers blooming around the schools ground. He gently caressed a rose petal and smiled to himself.
"Beauties, my lovely beauties," he whispered to himself. His smile fell as he heard mocking laughter behind him.
"What the fuck dude?" A voice spoke, Lindsey. His horrible girlfriend.
"Babe, I'm just. Admiring the flowers," He replied, giving her a little smile.
"Bitch, do you need a room with that?" She mocked, laughing at him. Her two friends behind her chuckled with her. Lindsey grabbed Terra's shoulder and pulled him in for a kiss.
"I'm your only fascination. You should only be admiring me," She whispered in his ear, she held him in place until he nodded.
"Of course. Love you. Babe," He told her, looking at the flowers as he spoke. She noticed his gaze and punched him in the stomach. He let out a gasp and Lindsey's two friends scoffed at her.
"Bitch what did I say? Admire only me!" She yelled.
"Jesus Lindsey, was that necessary?" One nagged, Lindsey glared at her.
"Yes it was, you've got to keep your men in line," Lindsey told her, then she planted a long kiss on Terra.
"If you look at a flower again, I'll pluck it from the ground," She announced. The school's alarm began to ring.
"I've got to go to class," Terra wheezed. Lindsey just chuckled.
"I know you do moron. We all know what the bell means," She clicked her fingers and began to walk away, one of her friends followed her, the other remained in place, looking at Terra in pity.
"Are you ok?" She asked in concern. Terra nodded.
"Don't worry about me Anya, I'm fine," He replied with a smile.
"You don't have to put up with that you know, it's abuse," She told him. Terra looked at her and let out a little laugh.
"What? No it's not, she's only mucking about. Don't be so paranoid Anya," He scoffed, she bit her lip, then they both then heard Lindsey's familiar roar.
"ANYA! Get your arse here NOW!" She shouted. Anya gave Terra one last look, then ran to catch up with Lindsey.
Terra looked at the roses again, giving them little smiles.
"Don't worry my beauties, if she ever plucked you. I'd revive you. That's my vow," He whispered, then blew them a small kiss. He then began to run to his lesson, clutching his stomach as he ran.
"She's doing it for love man," He told himself
"She only wants you to care, she loves you. She loves you,"
