He stood in front of the mirror, ruffling his dark brown hair. No matter how much he tried, it always looked so messy. He shrugged and just winked at his mirror.
"Looking good," He told himself, then raised his eyebrows.
"Jesus Terra, you're not a back street boy!"
He picked up his leather jacket and flung it over his shoulder. He began to make his way to his bathroom. As her passed his window sill, he noticed his potted geraniums had wilted. He sighed, but then he raised his eyebrow. He gently waved his hand, the wilted plant, slowly started getting it's colour back, then it was as good as new.
"Here's to me never having to buy another plant," He muttered to himself. He looked out his window to look into his garden. Sure enough, it was beautiful. His flower beds bursting with colour, any plant he wanted, he could create with his power. The time his mother came over, he almost got busted over a small potted bonsai tree.
"Where did you buy this?" She asked, handling the plant, looking at it in awe.
"It was a gift," He'd replied, his palms sweating. Luckily for him, his mother was fairly gullible and bought his little white lie. After that, he vowed to read up on plants before he created them. One drunken night in, he'd grown a palm tree. Luckily the next morning he'd gotten rid of it. He was disappointed of course, but he'd been stupid.
He patted his bonsai tree gently, smirking at his pasts close call.
"Off to school," he sighed. He always wondered what life would be like if he'd told someone about his power. He vowed to only ever tell the person he loved. Sadly, he hadn't met them yet. He'd often laugh to himself, he had such a bad boy attitude and appearance, but no one knew how much of a flower lover he was. His friends had no clue. He walked towards the front door walked out, as he stepped on his drive he let out a little sigh, then he turned around and slowly shut his door behind him.
