The Perfect Life

4 years later....

Today is a very special day. Today is the day that I see what the baby is! Oh yeah I totally forgot to mention, Cade and I are very happy! We have a little boy named Aiden and now I'm pregnant....again! Aiden is 3 years old, he finally got out of that "terrible 2's" phase. Aiden is actually very excited to have a little sibling. I am so excited to see what were gonna have! I hope its a girl but if we have another boy I am ok with that!

I am now growing a bump and Cade, Aiden, and I are on our way to the doctors. Cade and I were holding hands the entire ride there and back. Once we got there we were waiting in a room and then they called us back. I had packed a huge bag full of Aidens favorite toys. I layed down in the bed and the nurse put a light blue/clear gel and she put it on my belly. It was a little cold but I got used to it. I began to hear a heart beat and I teared up. I don't know why because I've already been pregnant once but it was still sweet. The nurse kept on moving the device on my belly and heard another heart beat. At first I was confused then I realized.....I'm having twins! I couldn't believe it! "Can you tell the genders?" I asked the nurse. "Actually yes!" the nurse replied. "What are they?" I asked her. "You're having 2 girls!" said the nurse. I was soo happy to know that I got my wish let alone 2!

She said I was about 19 weeks in. I was super happy. I asked her if I would start feeling movement and she said that I would feel some but not a lot. I was a lot bigger than I was with Aiden. And Aiden was a pretty big baby. Anyway as she was putting the machine away I felt movement. It was actually quite a bit of movement. "Babe!" I yelled at Cade. "What?" he responded. "They're moving!" I replied. He walked over and put his hand over my belly. I moved his hand to where they were. He was soo happy I could tell because of his face. "Thank you so much" I said to the nurse. "Your welcome" she said.

On our way home I could not sit in a comfortable position! They wouldn't stop moving. They for some reason they liked kicking my ribs. It really hurt but I didn't care!

At some points Cade would put his hand on my belly while he was driving and he would talk to the girls. We haven't figured out names yet. I'm thinking Rose and Lily. The names are both flowers. Only one of the girls kicks my ribs and I think that one would be Rose cause roses have thorns.

Once we got home I changed into comfortable clothes. I wore a blue t-shirt and some black sweatpants. The girls were very active in the day and afternoon, but at night time they aren't. Which in my case is a good thing because I like my sleep. When I was pregnant with Aiden, he never let me sleep. It was cute, funny, and annoying. I always had to sleep on my right side with Aiden, so I wonder what side I'll have to sleep on this time.

In the middle of the night I woke up with terrible pain around the middle of my belly. I woke up Cade and he was concerned. He called his mother so she could watch Aiden. Cade and I were speeding down the road until a cop caught us! The cop knocked on the window while I was trying to hold in my pain. "Sir do you know how fast you were going?" said the officer. "No officer." replied Cade. "You were 70 mph and the speed limit is 50 mph." said the cop. "I'm sorry officer but my wife here is pregnant with twins and she is having severe pain and we need to know what going on." said Cade. "I'm sorry to hear about that, I will give you a specially escort." said the officer.

The officer did what he said. He gave us a special escort to the hospital. When we got there, Cade ran in and told the lady at the desk about me. The lady called on the intercom for all doctors. About 5 mins later, a whole group of doctors came down with a stretcher. I was in the car still in pain and I didn't know what was going on. The doctors put me on the stretcher and took me to the ER.

They did an ultra sound first and they figured out the problem. The babies heads were facing towards the sky. They are supposed to be facing the ground so a doctors had to fix it. Cade's POV. I was sitting in a chair waiting for any news. The doctors said that our girls heads were facing the wrong way. I watched as the doctor began to do it and then I saw in Octavia's face that it was hurting her. I ran up to her and I grabbed her hand. "Babe if it hurts just squeeze my hand as hard as you need to!" I whispered to her. She began screaming and crying the doctor ran into a problem. The other baby was in the way so the doctor could not finish the process. They tried everything to move the other baby, but she wouldn't budge. I had an idea that might work. "Lilly or Rose, which ever one of you in blocking the other, please stop you're hurting mommy." I said. I put my hand on Octavia's belly and I felt movement. The doctor looked and it worked. The other baby moved and the doctor completed the process. I was soo happy that my voice worked, and so was Octavia. She smiled at me and I kissed her on her forehead.

I was driving and Octavia was asleep. I was super happy and I felt all warm inside that our girl listened to my voice. My mother came and got Aiden before we left so he is gonna spend the night with her.

5 weeks later....

Octavia's POV. When I woke up I was on my side and Cade's arm wrapped around my waist. When I got up I felt a little dizzy but I was ok. I went downstairs to get some water when I looked at the calendar. I looked and today was a check up of the girls. My appointment was in 2 hours and it takes an hour to get to the hospital. I put my glass in the sink and I speed walked to my bedroom. "Babe!" I screamed at Cade. I shook his body and he jumped out of bed. "WHAT ARE THE GIRLS OK? ARE YOU OK?" he screamed. "Babe today I have another appointment today and it started in 2 hours." I told him. He got out of bed and got dressed. I found and really cute shirt of mine and thankfully I did laundry yesterday so I have some clean sweatpants to wear. In the car Cade was driving and I was looking out on the horizon. I felt one of girls kick me in my ribs really hard. "Ow!" I said. "Woah are you ok babe?" he asked me. "Yeah just one of the girls kicked my rib really hard!" I told Cade. He put his hand on the belly and began talking to the girls. "Hey little ones, do daddy a favor and don't hurt mommy. You can kick but not too hard." he said. Once he said those words they moved, and he felt it! Of course I did but he was a lot happier than I was when they moved. I think that my girls are daddy's girls! I began laughing so hard my stomach began to hurt.

Once we go to the hospital the lady came out and called my name. They took me into a room and they did an ultra sound. The heart beats were good and I was good too. The lady stopped the ultrasound of a minute and I wondered why. She stopped the photo and the girls were making a heart with their hands. They made a half heart and they connected them. I asked the nurse if she could print that and she already had! It was hilarious and I couldn't wait to show the girls once they were old enough.
