Chapter 30 - Right

  Albert Jauregui let out a loud sigh. The whole room froze.

"Where is Lauren?" he asked, serious.

Clara shook her head while Michael scoffed.

"I don't think she'll come." Joanna said as she leaned back on her seat.

"She'll come." Troy said.

Joanna rolled her eyes thinking that sometimes she just can't understand her own son. Suddenly, the door opened, Lauren was standing there, slightly panting.

"I'm sorry I'm late..There was some problem with the publishing department.." she said, looking at her grandfather.

Albert cleared his throat and looked away, Lauren sighed. She knows that she's not really welcome there.

"Mija dear, come sit with me." Clara said, patting the chair next to her.

Lauren smiled weakly and walked towards her mother to sit.

"So.." Albert said.

The whole family looked at him.

"So when will you apologize to Nicole?" he said, staring at Lauren.

Lauren bit her lip and looked down, not saying anything.

"We got so many complaints from the other share holders, saying how worry they are to this company's future for having such troubled successor." Michael suddenly said.

"You should realize that you are the third generation of Jauregui who will take over this company. You should take responsibility on your actions." he added.

Lauren just kept silent.

"Lauren, you have disgraced our family, and now you can't even do something as simple as saying sorry?" Joanna suddenly said.

"And by disgracing I didn't mean hitting Nicole Scherzinger..well, you know what I mean." she added.

Lauren looked up and stared at Joanna, angry. She scoffed.

"Look at your daughter, Clara. How rude."

"Lauren." Albert called.

Lauren quickly turned her gaze to her grandfather. Albert sighed and stares at his granddaughter.

"I love you and.."  He paused. "..I hope you can listen to me this time."
