5 years later
'daddy!' says juliana running to her dad as she finishes school.
'hey baby.' he says his arms open picking her up.
'how was school?' he asks her smiling.
'it was great! agata was teaching me numbers in italian.' she says pointing to her friend who's walking to her parents who happen to be alice and alvaro.
'that's great news sweetie!' he says putting her back down and holding her hand as they walk towards the car.
'where do you want to go? as you don't have school tomorrow i was thinking we could have one of daddy-daughter afternoons.'
'i want to see mummy.' she says looking up at her dad. sergio's smile suddenly disappears and he clears his throat.
'you sure about that sweetie? you don't want to get ice cream or play in the park? or we could go to uncle cristiano's! you love going there.'
'no i want to see mummy, i drew her a picture today in play time.' she says climbing into her car seat.
'alright, let's go and see mummy.' he says driving off.
once they arrive at the graveyard, stopping for flowers on the way, sergio's throat suddenly goes dry. juliana walks over to adira's grave, placing down her picture and sitting in front of the grave.
as he watches his daughter talk to her mother, sergio feels someone's presence behind him.
'jesus christ you scared me.' he says to alvaro.
'come on sergio, it's been five years don't you think you can move on from now? we all love and miss adira dearly but this isn't healthy man.'
'i am not moving on from the mother of my child. she was and still is the love of my life alvaro. nothing will ever change that, not ever.'
