'you guys disgust me.' i say as my best friend and her boyfriend make our on the sofa.
'oh adira, you're so lonely.' says chloe laughing making me frown slightly.
'i'm not lonely, it's just i don't need to mix saliva twenty four seven with my boyfriend when my friend is there.' i say rolling my eyes.
'why don't you just invite sergio over huh?' says chloe sarcastically.
'you know i can't do that. he's a busy man and he lives in madrid. i can't exactly pop over to madrid for the day and come back.'
'that's what happens when you turn into a wag.' says chloe's boyfriend laughing then chloe starts laughing with him.
'a wag? are you fucking serious?'
'well it's kinda true adira. i mean you are going out with a football player. for all we know you're only going out with him for the money.' says chloe shrugging.
'you know what fuck you.' i say getting up and looking chloe's boyfriend, 'and fuck you too.' i say looking at chloe.
i quickly grab my phone, bag and coat and storm out the apartment.
'hey, it's okay.' says daniel stroking my back as i cry into his shoulder.
'she has no right in calling you that when she hasn't even seen you and sergio together. i've only met sergio briefly but i know you're both made for each other. i mean you do talk about him twenty four seven.' says daniel laughing slightly making me smile.
'come on, i'll make you a cup of tea and you can have an early night.' says daniel getting up and going into his kitchen. i go into the spare bedroom, get into the bed and fall into a deep sleep within minutes.
i wake up the next morning, slightly confused by my surroundings at first but then remembering i was in daniel's apartment. i can hear two voices talking to each other but can't make out who they belong too. i get up from the bed, stretch and put my hoodie on before going into the kitchen.
'good morning adira, did you sleep well?' says daniel looking at me with a smile. the person opposite him at the table turns around and smiles.
'sergio?' i say in shock.
'hey baby.' he says getting up and wrapping his arms around me.
'what are you doing here?' i say as his arms are around me, holding me close.
'daniel called me last night. he told me what happened and i came on the first flight out.'
'thank you.' i mouth at daniel and he simply nods.
'daniel and i both decided that it would be best if you came to live in madrid with me. you don't have to worry about working i will definitely find you somewhere as i've told you before. but we're not going to do anything unless you absolutely want to move. so what do you say?' he says looking at me.
'of course, i'll move to madrid with you.' i say with a smile.

'i'm going to miss you.' says daniel sadly at the airport.
'me too, it's going to be weird not working at the counter with you.' i say.
'you're going to come and visit right?'
'of course i will! and you have to come to madrid! i'll show you all around the city and i'll even introduce you to cristiano ronaldo.' i say laughing.
'if i get to meet ronaldo, i'll definitely come. i want to see that fine piece of portuguese man.' says daniel making sergio burst out laughing.
'remind me to tell cristiano that.' says sergio laughing.
'flight 2038ae6 to madrid is now boarding.'
'that's us.' i say looking up at daniel.
'call me when you get there okay?' he says and i nod before he gives me a hug.
'and you.' he says standing in front of sergio.
'you may be hot but if you break adira's heart once, i will break that pretty face of yours. she's like a sister to me so if you hurt her even in the slightest i will hurt you. understand?' says daniel to sergio.
daniel is actually a giant next to sergio. sergio is already pretty tall but even he has to look up at daniel.
'understood.' says sergio.
'good, now have a safe flight!' says daniel smiling giving me another hug.
we say our goodbyes once more before sergio and i check in our luggage. i look around one last time at daniel who's waving at us before going through the security control.
'nervous?' says sergio.
'very but also excited.'
'don't worry baby there's nothing to fear.' he says before taking my hand as we start our new lives together.
