When Mabel and I finally arrive at the airport I search the parking lot for Dipper's car, knowing that I won't be seeing it. "You see his car?" I ask her, even though I know the truth.

Mabel steps out of the car, black heels clicking on the pavement. "No, I don't see his car. But he did take a taxi here, so he could literally be anywhere."

I bite my lip to keep it from quivering. "This is awful."

"Well if anything, it releases you from your contract with him, right?" Mabel asks, amusement in her voice. "I mean with him back London, you won't be able to lose your job and you don't have to marry him."

I know that Mabel has a huge point, but part of me had actually fallen in love with Dipper. He most certainly has a rough exterior, but I know the real him. "I don't care about that anymore," I shake my head. "Let's just find him as soon as possible."

Mabel sighs and crosses her arms, "I have no idea what you see in him."

I stop walking and look at her, "what exactly do you mean?"

She pauses, "I mean. My brother is a complete know-it-all, egotistical, arrogant fuck." She explains, not with an ounce of sympathy. "He just does what he does, it doesn't matter what light you see it in; he's trouble."

"Yes," I snap, "I'm aware of that." I turn away from her and sigh. "I never would have been in this situation if he hadn't waltzed into my life."

"In my eyes, it would have been better for everyone if he had stayed in London." Mabel sighs, "but now he's going back, do you want him here?"

"What would it matter if I wanted him to stay or not?!" I demand, gaining the attention of a few people walking past. "There's no way in hell that he'd ever listen to me!"

"I think he would." Mabel finally admits, "I mean, he was a totally different person when he was with you."

"He was bipolar with me." I frown.

"Well, we talked about. . .you sometimes." Mabel explains softly. "He didn't like talking about you, because I truly believed that you affected his heart. He doesn't know it just yet, and that's why he's running from you. He cannot think of what you're doing to him, he can't fathom it at all. This is definitely all new territory for him, he's never been in a lasting relationship. My brother only thinks with his head, not his heart. He thinks that everything has a logical explanation.

"So I do believe that he's doing the best he can. The only logical thing, to him, to do is to run from this. Run away from his feelings, build stronger walls, hide himself in a completely different country than you. It apparently helps him cope."

I let Mabel finish her speech, trying to create any way to understand. I can't understand Dipper Gleeful. He is hard to read, he never acts the same way twice, he brings you up and places you down, he is never an open books, he has way more secrets than the Chamber of Secrets from Harry Potter, he is cleverly isolated, knows how to push people to the point of breaking and. . .I love him.

I love Dipper Gleeful.
