Chapter 4: Absent

It's been days since I haven't seen him, what had happened? I walk out of class and saw Lisa waiting outside. "Have you seen Taehyung?" I ask her, "No, I'm-" She pauses, "Waittttt." She looks at me smirking and pointing her finger at me, "What's with the name?" She adds, "-and with the concerned look on your face." She smiles and she grabs my hand. "It's okay." She jokingly says, "Aish." She smiles and hugs me, "How long was he absent?" She asks, "Weeks." Her eyes widen, "What?!" She shouts, and every head on the room turns to her. "Shh, be quiet." I put a finger on her lips. She puts my had down and goes, "It's probably because of his girlfriend." I raise a brow, "Why?"I ask, "They broke up." Lisa's tone became serious. "They even did it in the worst way, that time, Prof. Tae was already planning on proposing to my sister. He even planned a reservation for them in a fancy restaurant. So, during the date, my sister was the first one to talk and told Prof. Tae that she had found someone else." She explained, "Before that he even asked me to come, but when I saw that she already told I immediately rushed outside and waited for them to come out, but I only saw Prof. Tae who was really sad and was gripping on the box of the ring." She adds, "He then asked me if I wanted it instead, so I took it." I look at her with disbelief, "Taehyung? Has feelings? Psh" She sighs and says, "You should take care of him, he doesn't deserve that kind of treatment. He's a nice person, Jennie." She adds, "Even if he's full of smiles, he still tries his best." She later on grabs my hand and brings me to a noodle house.

While taking a sip of the soup, I suddenly remember Jungkook, "Lisa?" She looks to me still eating her noodles, "This guy named Jungkook wanted to talk to you." She smiles and goes, "We're already official Jennie." I look at her surprised, "That quick?!" She nods her head, "You should try having a boyfriend." I look at her angrily, "It's not my fault that my crush is a teacher of my university and a friend of my mom that brought me home from school because it was raining!" Lisa drinks her glass of water looking at me, she puts it down and says, "You just slipped." I realize what I just said, "I-I didn't mean to-." She smirks at me and says, "He brought you home from school huh?" She brings out her phone and types on it, "What are you doing?" She sends the message and says, "I planned a date for the two of you."
