"Son of Aphrodite."

Piper Pov.

I stared in shock as the little boy Mathew lunged straight at Leo. I could see the panic in Leo's eyes as Mathew came closer, a trail of thickened shadows behind him.

"Gods no," Jason hissed as Leo's hands lit up. I screamed as the fire widened into a wall, the wizards nearby scrambling backwards. From the corner of my eye, I could see Annabeth shouting as a huge wave soared into view. I sighed in relief when I saw the water, but stopped short. Jason's eyes widened as Percy stood there, stunned as the water turned into a dragon.

Internally I gasped. The dragon was beautiful, like how I had seen Festus, but more realistic. The dragon had shimmering deep blue scales that rippled with every move, clearly showing the water underneath. Mist wavered all around it, softly wetting my face as it moved. My eyes widened as I realized where it came from.

Mathew was standing there, a smirk plastered on the boy's face as his hands were raised. What was most shocking was his eyes, which had turned into deep blue, the color of the dragon scales.

"Wha-What's going on?!?!" Hazel squeaked as Mathew flicked his wrist, causing the dragon to roar a cannon of water straight at a wide-eyed Leo.

Lou and Katie screamed behind me as Leo was blasted in the face. The Stolls stood there with their mouths hanging open while Will passed out. Reyna was completely shell shocked as Annabeth turned to Percy.

"What happened?" she half-yelled while Percy shook his head, his eyes dazed as he looked at Mathew.

Beside me, Rachel sighed in relief as the water stopped, revealing a soaked to the bone, passed out Leo. I smiled as Leo groaned, getting up. He stood up completely and glanced at Mathew, who crouched while tilting his head.

"You're pretty strong if you survived that," the little boy remarked as Jason and Thalia fumed beside me. I quickly gripped his hand, calming him down. I knew he was mad because his best friend had almost been killed and Thalia was probably mad because someone had just messed with her little brother's friend, but he was just a kid...

No. He wasn't just a kid. He was my brother, who had suddenly appeared at a school for wizards along with Nico di Angelo. The little boy did look like a son of Aphrodite, with his golden curly locks of hair and those warm chocolate eyes, but this was too much.

"Bring it on," Leo muttered as the boy just grinned. Mathew crouched down onto the floor and placed his hand on the earth. I held my breath as shimmering green runes appeared, heading straight towards a dumbfounded Leo.

"That must take a lot of power," Reyna commented. Confused, I looked at the boy and realized she was right. His forehead beaded with sweat while his face scrunched up in concentration.

"It does," a voice suddenly said behind me. I yelped and spun around to see the guy Micah staring amusedly at me. I blushed while Annabeth crossed her arms.

"What do you mean?" she asked as Micah looked over at Mathew, a worried expression on his face.

"Well, I started teaching him that, but he never really tried completing it. Never thought he would actually use it..." he answered, muttering the last part.

"Wait, you mean you taught him that?" Lou yelped as the green runes swarmed around Leo's feet. Micah shrugged.

'Yeah, magic is kind of my thing, being a son of Hecate and all that," he replied as Lou gaped at him. Before she could say anything, Clovis snapped awaked and stood up, pointing at Leo.

"Sleep," he said as we all stared confusedly at him.

"Sleep as in what?" Travis questioned, raising his eyebrows.
