***Mai's P.O.V.***

My head was pounding when I finally had enough strength to open my eyes. light flooded in from everywhere and it hurt even when I was squinting. I tired to get a look at my surroundings, but all I could see was white for a few moments. Once I opened my eyes I knew I must be in a nightmare. Everything had to be a nightmare. I was just dreaming and everything leading up to me being in a room with him, was a dream. However, when I opened my eyes, he was still there with the smug smirk on his face. ''Hello there, sweetheart,'' he greeted, ''Glad to see that you're finally awake.''

I could feel the tears prickling at my eyes when I felt his hand touch my cheek. ''Liam! Louis!'' I tried to scream, but all that came out was a few muffled calls because there was tape over my mouth. ''Zayn! Niall! Harry!'' I continued on, desperately wishing that they could hear me somehow. I didn't care if they had kidnapped me before he did, anywhere away from him was where I wanted to be.

''Aw,'' he cooed, ''Hush now, sweetheart, there's no one here to hear you anyways.'' I let the tears fall at his words, and I tried to scoot away from him, but I was already leaning up against a wall. I brought my hands, which were bound together with rope, up to my face to try and keep me away from him, but he only pulled them back down. ''C'mon, let's stop the crying. I'm going to take the tape off, but if you start screaming bloody murder than I'll have to put it back on.'' He looked to me to try and find a nod of compliance, but I offered nothing. Slowly, he peeled the tape away from my mouth and I took my chance.

''Lia-!'' The tape was slapped back over my mouth before I even had time to finish, and he scowled at me.

''What part of 'there's no one here to hear you' don't you get?'' he scowled before standing up and shaking his head. ''Your friends are a long ways away now, honey. Not getting you back, either, no one getting you back.''

''Wmmfhmmmm,'' I mumbled the incoherent words and he just raised an eyebrow at me before hesitantly peeling back the tape over my mouth. ''Why are you doing this?''

''Oh, I think you know why, Eira,'' he chuckled, ''After all, once you got that restraining order on me, how else was I supposed to see you?''

''Maybe you could've just taken the hint and stayed away like a normal person instead of being an insane idiot and kidnapping me,'' I suggested bitterly.

His eyes narrowed, ''How is It any different from when those boys had you? You were trying to get away from them, and in a way I saved you.''

''It's different because you're a fifty-year-old lunatic who should be behind bars!'' I yelled at him.

''Don't you dare speak to me like that, I am your father!'' he shouted back.

''You're no father to me!" I screamed back. His hand flew through the air before harshly hitting my cheek and making it sting as my head snapped to the side and tears blurred my vision again. ''This is why mom divorced you,'' I cried and his face contorted into one of pure and utter anger.

''Don't you ever mention that b**** again,'' he cursed. He went quiet for a moment after that, and all that was heard was my sobs. I pushed myself as far away from him as I could get until my back hit another wall, and I looked down at the dirty and damp looking ground. We must've been in an old and run-down house that no one was using, because the room looked like a bedroom and stunk like something had died in it. The walls practically screamed depressing as they were painted in browns and greys. There was a beeping noise and he pulled a phone from his pocket before looking at the screen and then to me. He offered another sickening smile, ''Guess what, Eira? A friend of mine came through for me, and you and I are going to be heading off to a remote little place called Africa in about a week.''

''A week?'' I squeaked out after hearing the words.

''I know, seems a little long if you ask me,'' he frowned and then continued to mumble to himself. A week of trying to escape from the boys got me no where, and I could tell that I wasn't going to have much luck with a lunatic like my father. I wasn't going to Africa without a fight, though, you could be sure of that. ''Time to get to some place safer,'' my father mumbled before grabbing the rope binding my wrists together, and pulling me up. I anchored my feet to the ground so that he had to drag me with him, and he definitely did not like that. ''You're a grown woman, Eira, stop this nonsense,'' he demanded.

''Let me go,'' I said in between my struggle to stay planted to the ground. He yanked me up and wrapped his arms around my torso to try and carry me easily, but I retaliated and flailed as much as I could in his arms. It was hard to do anything with my hands tied up, but I tried my best to get out of his grip. Eventually, he forced me into the passenger side of a rusty old car with no plates, and closed the door before I could try to get out. He hoped in on the other side and locked the doors quickly. I went to pull up on the lock and get out, but I soon found that it had a child lock on it.

''Sit back, Eira,'' he instructed gruffly, ''we're in for a long ride.''
