Seven girls sat in the dance practice room, taking a break from their dance practicing. They've been practicing harder than ever, after they were told that they were to debut soon. They've trained for years for the chance to get on stage and show their talents, and it was finally happening.

Their manager, had informed them that Big Hit would reveal them one by one. Which member would be revealed first would be a mystery in sometime that week. The girls were anxious and hyped beyond belief. They had their first photoshoot for their new album just a few days ago, much to their excitement.

But for now, the girls sat on the floor of their practice room sweaty, tired, and anxious. They all perked up at the sound of the practice room door opening. A Big Hit staff member peeked her head around the door first then walked in.

All the girls stood up and bowed to her respectfully. "Hello!"

The woman bowed back to them. "Hello! I'm here to announce the first four girls to be publicized. The other three will be released after them." At her words, the girls gave each other an uneasy look. Were they being split up?

"I want all of you to understand that you'll be expected to be cautious after you're publicized. You can't go out and do reckless things like drinking and driving. Be careful of what you post on your official accounts. To gain publicity, you'll have to post on your SNS and be in videos with BTS," Dasun warned them. The girls nodded.

"I'll give you a choice on how you'll all be picked. I have a hat with tiny slips of paper in them and you could pull out the numbers, or you could be picked by a lottery system," Dasun said to them, pulling out two Santa hats. One was labelled "Numbers" and the other was labelled "Lottery."

Minyoung bit her lip. She looked at the other members. "Can we have a moment to talk this over?"

"Of course," replied Dasun.

The girls huddled around each other. "What are we going to do?" Minyoung asked. "Both are really risky, and I didn't want to make a decision without you all."

"It really sounds like they're splitting us up," Gain said nervously. "Why reveal four members first only? It sounds shady."

Nari chewed on her lip for a little before replying. "Well we have no control on that, but we can pick how we're picked. I say we go with the names."

Minyoung collected the votes from the other members as they reeled off their opinions. It ended up being a tie, and she was stuck with the last vote. She and the other members returned to where they were before, in front of Shin Dasun.

"What choice?" Dasun asked.

"We'll go with the names," Minyoung stated firmly.

Dasun grinned at them. She stuck her hand in the hat, mixed around the slips of paper, and drew out a piece of paper. Without saying anything, she opened up the slip of paper and smiled.

The girls stared at her eagerly. They were nearly dying of suspense. Years of hard work wouldn't go to waste. They were going to be idols.

"First to be publicized is our hardworking leader, Park Minyoung."

Minyoung let out a huge sigh and was overwhelmed with positive emotions that she just fell onto her back from her sitting position. She squealed in delight. She was going to be the first to be recognized.
