chapter six ; girl's night

i also drew their dorm out a little bit and it's nOT gOOd but i guess it'll have to do (also note that the dog play area was supposed to be where i drew in the couches but forgot to)

the next day started out with vocal practice. the girls were going to have their first concert in a few days and they had been preparing vigorously for the past few weeks. the girls were incredibly nervous and anxious to perform for their fans. they've done some fan sign events and a couple of interviews, but never a concert. the thought was thrilling and nerve racking. 

the members didn't fail to practice for their concert. they stayed late after late-night dance practices to perfect the moves that they worked hard to help make. the manager bought vitamins and supplements for the group members to improve their health before the concert, while althea bought sheet masks and clay masks for the members to uphold their skin. nari stayed up late in order to make a special song and collaborated with gain, who made a dance for the song. haneul stayed up late to practice her aegyo in front of the mirror when everyone was asleep. zoe and taechan took care of haru because the rest of the members were busy and cleaned the dorm. 

after all of their hard work, the girls were tired and worn out. there was only one day left until the concert and the girls were already beginning to over-work themselves. their manager did the only thing she wanted to do. 

"hey girls, i brought you all here to tell you something," the older girl told them. 

the seven girls sat in front of her on the couches in the work room, listening attentively. nari had been making finishing touch-ups on the special song, gain and taechan came from the dance practice room with minyoung and haneul, and zoe and althea came from the vocal practice room. the girls looked evidently tired from their hard work. pride and sadness lingered in the manager's heart as she saw the girls. 

"is it bad news or good news?" an anxious taechan asked. they rarely had full group meetings with their manager for good news. 

"i've cleared your schedule for the rest of the day. i think you all deserve to have a night off after all of the hard work you put in. after your concert, you'll be stuck in the practice room to learn the dance to fire. i want you all to have some peace of mind before you amaze your fans with all of the things you've prepared," the manager explained to europa. 

the seven girls rushed up to the manager and gave her a group hug. 

"thank you!" they cheered, warming the heart of the manager. 

N O - P O V

the seven had set up a girl's night in after their manager had left to take care of other matters. they felt relieved after hearing about their cleared schedules. they barely had enough energy to go to dance practice again that night. 

they sat around each other, leaning against the couch and sitting on the bean bags. haru was asleep in the two eldest girl's room, where haru's bed was moved to (because they had the most empty space in their room). zoe and minyoung stopped by the convenience store to pick up some snacks for the members. 

"so since we have a girl's night in, shouldn't we talk?" gain asked the others. 

"oh, that's a good idea," minyoung replied.
