He's my Boyfriend, Peter Parker

Chapter 1

Note: Bold and italic font is when Gwen is thinking to herself

I'm ten minutes late for science class! Hopefully i don't miss anything.

I walk in, everyone's starting at me.

I quickly apologise to Mr Adams and make my way to my seat behind Peter, as I walk past I catch a glimpse of him drawing something on his notebook.

Mr Adam talks about entomology, the study of bugs. He goes on about how each bug has its own speciality and its own unique way of surviving, their capability of changing the life cycle. I look up from taking notes and see Peter taking a nap on his desk; I don't get how he's the top student in science. I mean peter is kinda cute...for someones that really fucking smart, smart nerd huh, not bad. 

Mr Adam finished the lesson by giving us an assignment; he walks around giving the sheets to everyone.

I skim read the sheet

Research ten different types of the same arachnid (spider) or bug, show their speciality... yeah yeah easy, must show their food chain and autonomy of the bug/ arachnid and present it to the class... doesn't sound too bad....

I look down at the bottom of the sheet.

Shit, its partner work...

Mr Adams silence the murmuring of the class

"I want you to all now find a partner you have never worked with before."

I already see people eyeing each other and nodding their heads, Great! How am I going to get a partner when half of the class already got one? I start to pack my books away, I might as well leave....then a see Peter turn over facing me.

"Hey....Gwen? um...do you have a partner yet? I mean, its okay if you already have one..."

I don't really have a choice do i? I mean he IS smart.

"Yeah Sure! I don't have a partner anyway" I say with a smile

"That's great, so...see you at the library at lunch?"

'Oh yeah, head start is always a good thing.' I sighed

Peter stands up and starts to leave the classroom

"Mmm yeah see you at the library" he waved as he walked past the desks

"Bye" I say just as he walks out

-THE LIBRARY-

I walk in the library with my notebook and laptop; surprisingly there is a lot of people in here today. I walk down through the isles scanning for Peter, and there in the corner is Peter. His face buried deep in the book, one thing I noticed as I walk towards him...he's wearing glasses.

*Ahem* "Looks like someone transformed themselves into a book worm." I grin as I sat down facing him

He chuckles and looks up from his book and smiles, I blushed for a second

What's wrong with me?

"So....." Peter started

"So since when did you start wear glasses?" I finished

"Oh haha" he said while taking them off and twirling the glasses around his fingers

"I wear contacts but I wear my glasses when I read books." He smiled

Peter drag his chair closer to mine and open up at bug encyclopaedia, he starts to flick through the pages and stops at the spider section.

Spiders fascinate me, I'm not particularly scared of them like all the other girls are. They aren't actually that bad...

Peter tells me that he wants to research about spiders, I tell him it's a good idea since we both have the interest of spiders. Well talked and researched deeply and before we know it, it's the end of lunch. We both said bye and headed to our own classes.

-FEW HOURS LATER-

School ends, I walk out of the gates and whizzing past me is Peter on his skateboard.

I stand a watch him skate along the path.

Peter is actually a really good skateboarder, with the wind blowing his hair... he looks amazing *sighhhh*....

I smile while staing at him skate way, then i notied what i was doing.

"WHAT THE HELL!?!?!" I screamed

Everybody turns to me, I quickly run across the street too avoid any more embarassing attention. 

Seriously what is wrong with me...why am I doing this? I mean I don't like him, just a friend! Only friends nothing else JUST friends. He IS cute but no. too quick...wayyy too quick. Nup Gwen you need to stop. 

I walk back home and dad greets me with a big kiss and bear hug as I walk through the door

"How's school darling?" he asked

"Not bad, I made a new friend." I smile

The phone rings and dad runs to the phone, I hear faint murmuring. As I walk to my room.

"Sorry Hun, dad's got a case to follow. Talk to you later, see you tonight." He said in a rush and kisses me on the forehead.

My dad's the head of the police department; he is always busy so family time always gets interrupted. At least he is doing his best to protect the city from criminals.
