CHAPTER 10

I’m lying on my bed exhausted from this weeks school. I check my phone, no notifications and messages.  God I’m so unpopular.

*Buzz Buzz*

 I answer the call, it’s from Natalie

 “Hey Gwen! Wanna go to the skate park with me? Chloe’s busy with work.”

 “Sure why not!” I say excitedly knowing that Peter might be there.

 “Coolies, i will wait for you at the front in ten minutes! Bye”

Natalie hangs up

I Spring out of bed and quickly change into my best running clothes, I zip my jacket right up hiding my sports bra as I walk out of the door. Natalie smile and waves. We start walking to the skate park.

“Why are we going to the skate park anyways?” I asked half smiling

“Chloe told me about Peterrrrrr.” she says teasing me

I nudge Natalie. She smirks

“I thought you would want to see him and Zach’s there as well.” She says enthusiastically

“Did Zach tell you Peter’s there?” I asked, just to make sure

“Yes yes! If Peter wasn’t why would I call you to come with me?” she says rolling her eyes 

We are the entrance of the skate park now, I quickly fixed myself up and unzipped my jacket. I caught Natalie smiling at me.

“You look fine Hun.”

 Zach and Peter noticed Natalie and me walk towards them, they both stop skating.

 Peter Peter Peter Peter Peter Peter....

 “Hey girls!“ greeted Zach

“Zach and I are gonna grab something to eat, want to come with us?“ Peter asked while looking at me

“Sure thing, can we go Taco Bell?” asked Natalie

“Of course babe!” Zach answers

 Natalie and Zach starts walking off leaving me and Peter

 Gwen…say something…

 “So…..How’s your day been?” I ask shyly

 LAMEST QUESTION EVERR!

 Peter laughs, making me chuckle 

 “Best question you had in mine right?” he asks smiling widely

 I nodded at him and smiled

 We walk behind Natalie and Zach, we talk a fair bit. It’s still awkward between us but I can deal.

We walk into Taco Bell and make our orders.

 The Fox news comes on the TV

 “Mass criminal escapes from jail today leaving police worried that he is going to unite with his gang, they have no idea where he is. The city is in great danger, the police order that everyone should stay indoors.” Announces the news reporter

 “Well dad wouldn’t be home tonight.” I sigh

Peter looks at me and presses his lips together and stands up

“I’m going to go now, Aunt May want be back extra early today.” Peter says

“What? Come on Peter, the food isn’t here yet.” Says Zach

“I’m not that hungry anyway, catch you guys later.” He says walking towards the door

“Bye Peter.” I say

 I guess he wants his Aunt to be safe

 We all finish our food, Zach ate Peters order. I’m guessing he must be starving

I walk home alone when I shouldn’t be, judging to the fact that a Mass criminal and his gang is probably somewhere.

I make it home safely, no one’s home yet. I switch on the TV to see if they have more updated information

 “The gang has been located by police, there seems to be a car chase along the highway. Witnesses has called in seeing Spiderman at the scene, will he save the city once more?.” Says the news reporter

 Spiderman…

 I stared at the TV screen as I watch Spiderman shoot his webs and swings. He is so fascinating, I want to know more about him, I’m just so curious. 

 One of the gang members tries to shoot Spiderman with a machine gun but he doges all the bullets, he makes a big swing at the person and kicks him out of the car window. The car chase stops.

“YESSSSS!” I scream

It was like a watching a movie…or video game but live.

One large muscly  man picks Spiderman up and smashes him on the floor

“Nooooo  fuck no….” I whimper, it must have really hurt! Maybe a few broken ribs

“Heyy honey! I’m back home.” Yells mum at the front door

I quickly switch off the TV

“Yes mum.” I say as I walk back into my room

Hopefully Spiderman’s alright.
