I woke up with my bed feeling cold, Lauren would usually be there next to me in the morning. Memories of last night started flooding through my head and I remembered that Lauren and I weren't going to be together anymore. I sat up on the bed, my vision blurry from the tears building up in my eyes. Lauren came in and I quickly wiped them away.
"Y/N I'm sorry about last night, I shouldn't have bothered you like that. I'm going to make it up to you and take you on a date. Does that sound good?"'She asked as she gently put her hand on my cheek and rubbed her thumb against it. "Yeah, okay." I said as I fumbled with my fingers. She was probably going to break up with me today. I felt a pair of soft lips against my forehead and I flinched at the contact. Lauren noticed but she just let it slide.
~skip to the date~
I was currently getting ready for our "date". After many minutes on deciding what to wear, I finally picked an outfit: a black crop top with a white flannel and ripped skinny jeans followed by a pair of white shoes and a casual looking bag.

Lauren walked in and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "You look beautiful, as always." She whispered. I blushed at her words even though I know she doesn't really love me anymore. "Thanks, so do you." Lauren was wearing a white crop top with a leather jacket, a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, and her signature red lipstick.
She gave me a peck on the lips and grabbed my hand, leading me to the car. We got inside and she started driving to the restaurant. Halfway through the ride, I felt her grab my hand and kiss it. At that moment my heart shattered into a million pieces but I didn't dare to show it because I wanted to enjoy every last second with her.
~skip until after the date~
Lauren and I were currently watching "The Lion King" on the couch. "Did you like the date baby?" She put her arm around my shoulder and started playing with my hair. "Yeah thanks." I looked down to my hands thinking about all of the things that have happened during the date. She pulled me closer to her and I hid my face in her chest. I couldn't do it anymore. I started balling my eyes out, clinging onto her shirt and probably getting tear stains all over it.
"Baby? What's wrong?" Worry was evident in her tone. "I-I saw the song you wrote. L-Lauren please don't l-leave me. I'll ch-change I promise." I sobbed uncontrollably as I felt her grip around me tighten. "Babe, I'm not leaving you. That was just a song I came up with, we needed a new song and I decided to write this one. I can't live without you right beside me princess, and you don't have to change, you're perfect just the way you are." She kissed my cheek lovingly and rubbed my back with her hand.
My crying calmed down and my breathing was now even. "I love you baby. Now go to sleep." She slowly laid me down and I felt a blanket and warm arms around my body. "I love you too Lauren, forever and always." I kissed the tip of her nose and burried my head back in her chest as I let sleep take over me.
