It was my girlfriend and I's 3rd anniversary. I went to get her a gift from the nearby jewelry store. She's been trying to save up for a Cartier bracelet and so have I, I just never told her because I wanted it to be a surprise.

I went back home and opened the door to our apartment with the bag in my hand, a bouquet of flowers and a heart shaped chocolate box. It was awfully quiet, Lauren would always be there to greet me. Maybe she's just sleeping?
I walked towards our bedroom door and heard soft moans. "Ugh yes Brad, faster baby." I heard Lauren pant. "Do you love Y/N?"
"No I only love you, I never loved her!" My heart broke when I heard that. I decided to walk in, tears streaming down my face. "L-Lauren? You n-never loved m-me?" She sat up quickly and tried to cover her body with the duvet.
"I'm sorry you had to find out like this Y/N." she said with a blank expression on her face.
"Dude, you should leave. You're killing our vibe." Said Brad.
"Well, I hope you have a good life together, hopefully you'll be happier with him." I said as I threw the bag with the bracelet at them.
I ran outside to my car, tears streaming down my face making my vision blurry. I started driving really fast down the road and missed the stop sign. I saw a car approaching the side of my car and evereverything went black.

I woke up breathing heavily and shaking violently.
I looked next to me to find my girlfriend sleeping peacefully. I started balling my eyes out, which caused her to wake up. "Y/N? Baby are you okay? What's wrong baby girl?" She rubbed my back as I hid my face in her chest.
"I-I had a dream, y-you were cheating on m-me with B-brad. Then you said you n-never loved me." I sobbed uncontrollably onto her chest.
"Awww baby, I would never ever cheat on you, okay? And I do love you baby, and I'm never going to leave you, alright?" She grabbed my face and looked into my eyes.
"Okay baby I love you too." I said once I calmed down.
"Let's go to sleep baby girl." She laid me down and I hid my face in her chest, holding tightly onto her.
"You'll be right here?" I asked
"Yeah baby."
"Promise?"
"I promise." She kissed my head and played with my hair until I fell asleep.
