Jaebum
The news was heavier than I expected. I left Yugyeom's house and thanked them.
But now...
I'm facing the place of the crime scene...
My house.
I didn't expected it. I can't believe it either. The fact that the house played a big role in Youngjae's death. Made me feel even worser.
If I haven't move...
I wouldn't have gotten inside of these never ending maze of mystery and secrets.
But...
if I haven't move. I wouldn't have met Youngjae.
I wouldn't have met him in the first place. He wouldn't have made me feel anxious, so confused and....hate to admit, but a ghost can actually make me happy.
I entered the house.
The door opened
Youngjae appears.
"What took you so long?"He ask.
I just smiled.
I smiled as if nothing affected me from what Yugyeom said.
But in reality It hurts...
And I don't know why?
Youngjae smiled lovely.
That face could have lived. That smile could have brighten someone else's life.Like how it did to mine...
"Youngjae" I called and his eyes look at me innocently.
How can I tell him when he's like this? How can I tell him that in this very house his remnants of himself is somewhere buried here?
I bow my head in defeat.
I shouldn't tell him yet.
Not yet. Not until I get the guy and make him pay"How do you feel like helping me with dinner? I'm hungry" I lied. I walk towards the kitchen
Youngjae seemed confused.
"How about information?
Jaebum what did Yugyeom said?"Youngjae asked as I walk my way towards the kitchen.
"Nothing...Nothing helpful"
I replied and take out some food from the fridge.
"Oh...Is that so?" Youngjae said sadly. "I was hoping for a good answer" He added.
I was hoping for a good news too
I started cooking silently and Youngjae was looking at me. Silently
"Jaebum are you lying to me?" He suddenly blurted out. I scoffed.
"No"
"But I can tell you're lying"
"I'm not"
"Yes you do!"Youngjae said sternly..I look at him and stop cooking.
"What did Yugyeom said? Tell me please" Youngjae plead almost crying.
I looked away I don't like seeing him cry.
"Yugyeom must have told you something Jaebum...Please tell me"
I sigh "I won't tell you Youngjae I can't" I said.
"Why?"
"To not hurt you"
"What your doing is hurting me Jaebum" A tear slipped away from his eyes.
I just don't want him to know the truth yet. I don't want him to feel sad that he died of murder. I don't want to tell him that his dead body is here lying on the floor. That he was killed by a guy wearing a red jacket.
I don't want him to go yet.
It doesn't feel right. It feels so unfair for Youngjae.
Youngjae walked towards me.
"Jaebum...Hyung" He called me hyung. I almost smiled.
But the pain overcome it."I have to know. If you restrain me for letting me know. How can my purpose here be succeeded?" Youngjae said as his tears flow.
I didn't even notice mine was falling too. My own tears was escaping too.
"One more day please. Just One more day..." If he knew about what happened to himself. He will go and left me.
Making my own purpose of moving to be useless.
The purpose of finding someone that can make me happy.
Youngjae's coldness came close and our faces was closer.
"Endless days of me being alive or one more day of me being dead?" Youngjae asked me. I closed my eyes
"Don't Youngjae please."
"You will tell me okay" He said hoping.
"I will...Just One more day"
