Day 5

Jaebum

I was staring at the bird. How the heck did I got that bird seeds on my head? The bird was just silently looking back at me too with a very innocent face.

"You're weird" I mumble.

I look around and saw the tapes. I decided to watch Tape #3.

I ran down to the living room. A day outside. That's what the tape was titled. I put it in, then wait to see something.

"Hello!"

Youngjae smile shine through the screen. It looks like his out for a walk on a rainy day. Rainy?

"Hay...Its raining but I decided to go out...Hahaha..There's nothing much to do in the house. I cleaned everything. Fed my birds. I already go to work...And now I just want an alone time..haha"

His laugh is really lovely. I can't help but to be mesmerize by the video. I know it just shows random things that Youngjae films but it feels addicting watching him like this.

"Look that's my neighbor..."

He pointed at a very familiar looking woman. I squinted my eyes to see more but then when the camera zoomed to the woman. The screen blacked out. The tape came out.

"What?..." I muttered.

I looked at the tape confused. I put it back again, maybe its just slight disfunction but it just comes out again. I shrugged giving up and picking up tape #4. Im sorry, that's the title.

"I'm sorry the camera went out hahaha...But I will continue here."

The video then resumed. It was a relief to know it was continued, but I never saw the woman's face.

"Oh but...I have to go..Haha..Have a nice day"

The video ended. The screen went black again. I am really curious about this guy even more.

"Jaebum!"

I flinched from the sound of the door noise. "Coming" I stood up to get the door "About time you open up" I sigh. "Its not the time-" "Im not even saying it yet" Jackson Wang my Colleague.
An annoying friend of mine. "I know what you will say already" I said. "Won't you just invite me in?" He asked. I open wide the door for him. He got inside. " I'm just here to check on your new house...Not to disturb you and invite you to go clubbing" Jackson said and hanged his coat. "How did you get my address?" I ask. "Jinyoung" He answered "Why does he know my address?" I ask shock "Bambam" Jackson said calmly. I facepalmed. "You better don't barge in here and throw a stupid party" I said.

Jackson was just examining the house. "You live here?" He ask with a scrunch face. "Its so old" He complimented, note the sarcasm. I slumped on the couch and he did too. "What were you watching?"He held one of the tapes. "Random" I replied. "Are these good?" He ask. I nodded. "What is it about ?" He ask. "A guy who lives here before?" I said. "You are watching a tape of a guy who lived here before? No, Jaebum that is not creepy at all" Jackson put down the tape. "I just found it and decided to watch it. Its not that bad actually he's cute" I said. Jackson looked at me judging. "Whatever..I'm hungry...Cook for me" He said. I sigh and decided to cook for this kid.

"So what's it like to live here" He ate a spoonful of fried rice. "Fine" I said. "How do you sleep in this creepy house Jae?" He ask. "Its not that bad really...The only thing bad is you dissing my house" I said. "I mean come on you live in a pre-owned house...Did you even get the time to ask for the history of this house?" Jackson said. That reminds me to call Hoseok. "No.." I mumbled.

"Wow...Great you wouldn't know if someone actually died here or something?" I looked at him. Unbelieveable. "It was just owned by one previous owner Jackson...Don't overreact"I said. "But still...I mean come on you will live here and you don't know?" He said with sass. I just shook my head in tiredness. "Really I'm done with you" I said. I stood up and headed for the bathroom.

When I came back Jackson was done eating. "You done?" I ask. "Yeah..That was delicious though" He said. "So tell me about it..First day..Your agent everything" I furrowed my eyebrows on him. "Why are you so curious with the house?" I ask and sat beside him.

"Nothing...plus that's the reason why I'm here" He said. "Well..It was fine..Great..My agent had his first sale on me. My first night here was fine. The only thing weird is I keep seeing notes?"

"Notes?"

I nodded. "The first time I got here. There was a note saying see you. Then it never stopped the day after that. It just pops out anywhere with different letters" I said. " And where do you assume this letters from?" He ask. I shrugged. "I have a feel with the old owner but I just can't find the source of the notes" I said. Jackson was in a deep thought. "I think..." His childish.

"There's a ghost here!" He tried to scared me but he knows I'm not that scared. "Really Jackson" I ask with a poker face. "Just kidding" He cracked up. "But maybe"  He said seriously.

"That's the reason why I told you to get the history first thing" He reminded. Suddenly his phone rang. "Oh its boss...I guess I have to go..." Jackson stood up. "Okay.." I said. "But Jaebum be careful" He said before he goes. Weird. "Bye" He waved. "Bye" I waved back. I closed the door. I walked back to the living room. Only to find out there's something on the couch.
