It's Sunday morning, and Carter calls to ask if we could hang out. I suggest we go to the old bridge and maybe take a swim in the old creek. He tells me that's a great idea.

I change into my grey swimsuit, and then I put a tank top and jean shorts on top. I take a light blue mesh hanging bag and fill it with two towels, a pair of sunglasses, one of my black over the shoulder t-shirts, and my phone.

I wait by my front door for him to pick me up. I decide not to let my mother know who he is yet. I have a plan for that, but I'll tell Carter after our day together. I also plan on telling him about the phone call later too.I just want to have a normal day with him...well, as normal as it could be.

I tell my mom that I would be spending the day with Lauren again.

Carter drives over, and I plop in the passenger seat.

"Hey," he says as he flashes me a bright smile.

This will be a normal day, I tell myself. "Hey," I say back to him.

"So you're talking today?" he questions with a pleased look on his face.

I nod my head, "But you might have to help me with that."

He reaches over and takes my hand, "Of course," he replies and kisses the back of it.

We drive down the path in the woods, and pull up before the bridge. I open my door and leave my bag on the front seat. I watch as Carter stands outside and pulls his shirt off. He sets it on his seat and then closes the door. I breath out. The words "normal day" keep running through my head. I slip my shorts off, fold them, and then place them in the bag. I take another deep breath before doing the same with my shirt. I close the door and turn around to walk over to Carter who was watching me. I feel my cheeks heat up and I notice that he seems a little embarrassed too, which makes me feel a little better.

"You're okay, right?" he asks.

"Yep," I tell him with a smile before taking his hand.

We walk over to the edge of the bridge. At the end of it, there is a small hill that leads down into the clear water. We walk down to it, and I slip off my sandals. I step into the water and feel how cool it is. I want to walk into it slow, so I could let my body adjust to the temperature, but Carter has a different idea.

As I take another step into the water, making my way to a deeper section, he bends down and swoops my legs up. I squeal a little, scared of falling but he carries me over to the deep side.

"Carter, NO!" I tell him laughing. I wrap my arms around him not wanting to be dropped into the cold water.

"What can you do to change my mind?" he asks smirking.

I guess he wants to play like that then. I smirk back at him and pull his head to me. I kiss his lips...a little frantically actually.

He groans, "Nice job." He sets me back down and pulls me closer for another kiss.

I give him a seductive smile, and as he leans in closer I place my hands on his chest. I see the surprised look on his face as I push him backwards into the water. He pops back up, and I turn to run, but trip in the shallow, ankle-deep water. He makes his way to me and stands over me. He leans down and wraps his arms around me, soaking my body with water.

I squeal because the water is cold.

Once I stop struggling in his arms, I realize that he is gazing into my eyes, and that he is breathing pretty fast.

"You are the most amazing person that I have ever met. You're like my angel," he whispers before getting the kiss he wanted.

He helps me up after, and we play around in the shallow water splashing each other every now and then.
