*Hunter's POV*

She hasn't woke up in two days. We stayed here the whole time.

"Aaron is awake now and you may see her." I hear and instantly look up. He continues "he can't go in since he isn't family." He was obviously referring to me. It was just me and Aaron's mom.

"He's with me. He's like family to us" Aaron's mom said while getting up.

"Okay. That's fine then." He replied. We follow him to her room. We walk in and there she is looking lifeless. Her eyes are barely opened, but when she sees us, she widens them and cracks a smile. She looks like she is in so much pain.

"Hi" she says quietly, flinching after the sound that came from her voice box. I smile and go up to her. I didn't want to hug her and hurt her, so I just took her hand in mine.

The doctor brought her mom outside to talk to her. "Hi princess. I'm so sorry this happened to you" I said tears threatening to leave my eyes.

"What's wrong with me?" She asks with her voice cracking.

"I don't know, I think that is what they're talking about with your mom right now." I replied.

*Aaron's POV*

I'm still in pain. Before I blanked, I went into a whole different world. It was beautiful and my body didn't hurt at all. Jacaranda trees, clear water lakes, bright green grass, silence. I seemed to forget everything and relaxed in the calming nature. I enjoyed it until I woke up.

When I woke up, I wanted to die. Two people walked in. I process who it was and I smiled. Hunter and my mom.

-

They said I had an inseparable tumor. I wasn't supposed to actually wake up this early, I'm going to die. Preferably in the matter of days.

Maybe hours.
